Lauren Conrad attends 3.1 Phillip Lim Spring 2010 @ MBFW 9/16

Spotted: Lauren Conrad, sporting a gorgeous tan dress and highly enviable gold Loubs. In past seasons, LC has been accompanied by Lo Bosworth or another one of her blonde friends, but today her companion was a PR flack who actually stepped in to prevent Lauren from giving away too much about the sequel to her best-selling novel. Once the conversation was safely diverted from LC's literary pursuits, she was allowed to tell reporters that, as far as she was concerned, "(Lim) can do no wrong." It seems Lauren has replaced the watchdog of the MTV cameras with one of a different sort, but at least the new version doesn't come in a package deal with Spencer Pratt.

Lauren tweeted 2 hours ago: "Just left the Phillip Lim Show. Even more amazing than I anticipated. It was BEAUTIFUL!"

Spencer Pratt and Stephanie Pratt on Heidi's New Puppy

Heidi Montag may want a baby, but Spencer Pratt decided that for her 23rd birthday, he'd give her a puppy instead. Pratt got his wife and fellow "Hills" star a 9-week-old Maltese and poodle mix .
Spencer tweeted that getting the dog was his attempt to get Heidi to stop thinking about a baby for a while. "I got Heidi this [dog], so she would stop trying to make baby."
The one person who may have an issue with Spencer's gift is his sister, Stephanie Pratt, who told MTV News she thinks the couple are too young and too busy for such responsibilities.
"Here's the deal: Basically, Heidi got married; [then] she's like, 'Oh my God, what do I do?' " Stephanie explained. "And so now she's like, 'I still want to get a house with a white picket fence ... and then probably a dog, and then we'll move on to kids. And I want to take cooking lessons.' "
But Stephanie keeps trying to convince her sister-in-law that this doesn't need to be the case. "I'm like, 'You don't have to do that,' " she said." I keep telling her, 'You don't have to get a dog [either].' A dog is a kid. They're just too busy."

Audrina Patridge's Stalker arrested in Northern California

Remember that creep who was stalking Audrina Patridge and sending her disturbing letters and drawings? Well 24-year-old Zachory Loring was arrested last night in Sonoma County on two outstanding warrants for vandalism and disturbing the peace.
While Loring isn't in jail due to any Audrina related drama, we bet Audrina will be able to sleep better knowing that he's behind bars! Loring is being held without bail, and he was served with Audrina's restraining order last night as well. Hopefully he won't be making his way back down to LA when he gets out! Poor Audrina! No one should have to deal with this!

Lauren Conrad: "City' Girl

She may not be interested in starring on "The Hills" any more but Lauren Conrad hasn't forgotten about her friends ... or at least the ones she ended up liking when MTV forced them to hang out for plot purposes.
Case in point: the blonde is in NYC for Fashion Week and took the opportunity to film some scenes for "The City."
It's unclear when L.C. will pop up, so that just means you should tune in every week -- starting Sept. 29 at 10:30 p.m. on MTV!

Lauren Conrad: "No," I'm Not Doing a Newlyweds Reality Show

Two reality shows were enough for Lauren Conrad.
In Touch recently reported that MTV has offered the former Laguna Beach and Hills star, 23, a Newlyweds-style reality show if she and actor-beau Kyle Howard tie the knot.
"No," Conrad told Usmagazine.com Wednesday when asked if the tabloid report was true.
Conrad -- who attended Nanette Lepore's NYC fashion show -- told Us it's been "nice" not having the cameras follow her every move.
She added that she probably won't watch the sixth season of The Hills, which begins Sept. 29 and stars frenemy Kristin Cavallari.
"When you've been a part of a show, it's different to watch," she said. "It takes the entertainment factor out of it."
