Olivia Palermo and Joe Zee joined up last night to celebrate Lincoln Center as the new home of New York Fashion Week, starting with Fall Fashion Week.
The event also marked the passing of the torch from Fern Mallis to former Vogue staffer Stephanie Winston Wolkoff as director of Fashion Week. Such a momentous occasion calls for quite the celebration, and all the powers that be in the Fashion Industry attended, including Amy Astley, Betsey Johnson, Catherine Malandrino, Erin Fetherston, Georgina Chapman, Harvey Weinstein, Kelly Cutrone, Kenneth Cole, Richard Chai, Thakoon Panichgul, Rachel Roy, Shelly Steffee, Ana Beatriz Lerario, Robert Gellar, Mara Hoffman, Gilles Mendel, Justin Giunta, Peter Som, Rafe Totengco, Vera Wang, Donna Karan, Tommy Hilfiger, Dennis Basso, Lisa Mayock, Tory Burch, Sophie Buhai, Sam Shipley, Jeff Halmos, Sophie Theallet, Daniel Silver, Stephen Burrows, Yigal Azrouel, Michael Kors, Yeohlee Teng, Nicole Miller, Zang Toi and Nanette Lepore (whew).
Heidi Montag Album Sells Less Than 1,000 Copies
Heidi Montag's debut album may have set a record -- just not a good one.
In its first week of release, The Hills star's album, Superficial, has sold less than 1,000 copies, according to Nielsen Soundscan.
In fact, industry sources tell UsMagazine.com that the album has sold only 658 downloads to date.
This is likely upsetting news for the reality star, who told Entertainment Weekly last week that she went broke making Superficial but thought that "within the first week, we will definitely make our money back."
She told EW, "I put every dollar I have into this. I've spent over $1 million, almost $2 million, on this album. It's cost as much or more than a Britney Spears album because I wanted it to be that quality... The songs will make an impact in pop history."
Those songs have collectively sold 6,000 downloads, Nielsen SoundScan also reports

Audrina Patridge and Ryan Cabrera Hooking up?
Singer-songwriter Ryan Cabrera can add a new bullet point to his résumé: player.
After wooing the likes of Riley Keough and Lydia Hearst - whom we reported he was dating just last week - Cabrera was spotted romancing a new babe Sunday night: "Hills" star Audrina Patridge.
A spy says the two were "holding hands and getting very cozy" during a performance of Broadway's "Rock of Ages," but apparently decided to keep their distance in front of the paparazzi. When Cabrera and Patridge went backstage after the show, they refused to be photographed together, taking separate pictures with the cast instead.

I call BS. They've been friends for a few years now, nothing more.
Audrina even tweeted over the weekend: "farewell vermonter's.... lots of fun at two brothers and ryan's show!!" If Audrina was trying to hide anything, I doubt she'd have mentioned Ryan at all.
Heidi Montag's Doctor Responds To Critics
After undergoing 10 cosmetic procedures in 10 hours last November, Heidi Montag is now saying she’s “not addicted” to plastic surgery.
On Good Morning America today (January 19), the reality TV starlet said, “If you’re addicted to something, you have to do it all the time, not once every couple years, if even.”
And as for looking like a Barbie? “I think I just look like a different, improved version of myself,” she says.
Heidi’s surgeon, Frank Ryan, defended himself about critics who say he did too much at one time. “I disagree,” Ryan said. “These are little tweaks and things we did. … These were all kind of small things.”
We couldn’t help contact Dr. Ryan ourselves about a practice that we personally deem irresponsible. His response? A rep for the doctor tells FYB exclusively, “Dr. Ryan declines about 90% of the media requests that he receives and declined to do all the plastic surgery ‘reality’ shows. Heidi was brave enough to be public about her surgery and Dr. Ryan agreed to do media, KNOWING that the coverage would be skewed toward the negative side – but Heidi’s surgery is representative of what goes on in Hollywood on a daily basis and Dr Ryan wanted people to see a REAL operation and recovery that wasn’t sugar coated.”
Meanwhile, Heidi tells Extra that her chest is now a “triple D,” but she might want to go bigger. “F. I like the F. I actually want H for Heidi.”

For those of you who will be in the New York area tomorrow night, please lend a helping hand at Thompson LES from 10pm - 2am. All proceeds will benefit the American Red Cross relief efforts.

Kelly Cutrone: At the Crossroads of Hollywood, Fashion, Love and Charity
By Kelly Cutrone for Tonic
Today, I want to take a moment to give a big shout out to Hollywood and say, even though we all spend so much time complaining about how shallow and stereotypically whack Hollywood and fashion are, it is more often, than not, fashion and entertainment peeps who jump to the front lines to help.
At the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday night, Mo'Nique's beautiful, sincere and much-needed acceptance speech set the bar and tone for the awards ceremony, which had the world's biggest stars sending two very distinct messages:
1. Love the one you're with and be grateful for it.
2. Open you hearts and your pocketbook, and start giving money.
STARS THAT SHINED — INSIDE & OUT:
- Sandra Bullock wins award and donates $1 million toward relief efforts.
- George Clooney organizes and hosts a telethon, benefiting Hope for Haiti.
- Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt donate $1 million to Doctors Without Borders.
- Gisele Bundchen gives $1.5 million to The Red Cross, raising her status from supermodel to mega-hearted mama.
- Matt Damon donated $1 million dollars.
- Don Cheadle donated $1 million dollars.

Brody Jenner Favors English Girls
Reality star Brody Jenner said he wouldn't rule out dating a British girl as the women are 'absolutely gorgeous'.
The 26-year-old was most recently dating former Playmate Jayde Nicole, but they split in December after 15 months.
Talking about English girls, he said: 'The last time I was in the UK, I was 12 years old and I didn't really get to appreciate females.
'I'm telling you right now, you have a great thing going on over here. The girls are absolutely gorgeous.
'There are a lot of beautiful girls in LA, but you girls are right there, if not way better.'
