Season 6 Will be the Final Season for the Hills!
After six seasons of sex-tape rumors, Les Deux drama, and couture-filled trips to Paris, MTV and the producers of The Hills have decided it’s time for the sun to set on the reality phenom. “I think we’ve told the story of struggle and of finding yourself in L.A.,” creator Adam DiVello tells EW. “A lot of these kids have found themselves and have certainly embarked on different careers and different paths.” None more so than Heidi Montag, who premieres her much-discussed plastic-surgery results to her mother on camera in the first episode back. Says DiVello, “We tell the whole story. We pick right up where Heidi goes and sees her parents. And our cameras are there that minute the mother opens the door and sees her daughter for the first time.” Adds executive producer Liz Gateley, “It’s a really touching but heartbreaking scene to watch.”
Heidi and Spencer’s relationship will also be a major focus of this batch of episodes. Commenting on rumors that Spencer had been taken off the show, DiVello says, “Spencer is dealing with some stuff right now, and once he gets through that, we’ll be back to shooting with Spencer again. Bottom line is you will see him. He’ll be in most of the episodes.”
In the final 12 episodes set to begin airing on April 27 at 10 p.m. ET, fans can expect to see Audrina Patridge dating singer Ryan Cabrera and Kristin Cavallari dealing with rumors of drug abuse. “When Kristin was in Miami for the Super Bowl, there was definitely some late nights for her and some speculation that she might be partying a little too hard,” explains Gateley. “So we’re definitely going to cover that part of Kristin. We’re pretty much covering everything you’ve read [about in the tabloids].” Also look for Stephanie Pratt to be dealing with sobriety, coming off her DUI last year.
But will former star Lauren Conrad return for the big goodbye? Maybe. DiVello promises a satisfying conclusion to the drama that started in Laguna Beach — though there’s one ending fans shouldn’t hold out for: “I always joked it would be nice to see Lauren get married.”

Erin Lucas: Esprit's flagship opening
Only a true glam girl like Erin Lucas can look superhot in sweats. The ex-"City" star attended Esprit's flagship opening in New York City last night in an athletic-inspired ensemble.
Rocking a super-comfy gray T-shirt, cropped black harem pants and leg-lengthening nude pumps, Erin transformed utilitarian pieces into a sexy suit. Although she threw her hair in a messy bun, the intricate bib necklace and structured clutch neutralized her laid-back look.

Who is Zach Hyman?
Since we're going to be seeing a lot more of Zach on 'The City' (he'll be dating Roxy Olin on the show) I thought you guys might like to learn a little more about him.
Zach was born and raised in Northern California with his younger brother, Adam, by his Mom Dad, Lynn and Alan. His childhood was full of love, life, and support from friends and family. Zach always wanted to be a spaceman, which may have developed as a testament to his father, but in turn caused him to have a pretty wild imagination. At age seven he moved to Houston, Texas, and then relocated to Philadelphia at age 14.
He was always attracted to theater for the excitement and attention, and after graduating high-school in Pennsylvania he decided to attend North Carolina School of the Arts for Conservatory Training in the Theater Arts. After two years and the gracious gift of 50,000 dollars of tuition from his parents; Zach decided to drop out and pursue his other passion, photography. Zach's dreams of being a spaceman were about to come true, but in a much different manner.
Zach did not fly around the planet, or go to the moon but his journey has been more than cosmic. New York City has allowed this young photographer to burst into his own. In only two short years he's managed to land work with Patrick McMullan, Peter Hurley, Sesame Street Workshop, and other independent clients. This is all well and good, and Zach takes the utmost pride in his work, but his real passion is to expand and evolve his own creations.
Zach likes to, bike, go to the beach, and drink a really cold beer on a hot day. He likes to play...a lot. He likes women...a lot. But most of all, the thing he could never mention too many times, he Loves his Mom, Dad, Brother, and his cat, Falafel.

Catching Up With Erin Lucas
MTV’s hit reality show “The City” is known for being a bit scripted, but one aspect of the show's drama about twentysomethings in New York isn't just for cameras: the strained friendship between Erin Lucas and Whitney Port.
Niteside caught up with the reality starlet at the Steve Madden Music and Iyaz event Tuesday night, and when asked if she was still in touch with Port, Lucas demurred with a tense “no comment.”
The former BFFs co-starred on the first season of “The Hills” spinoff but Lucas later quit the show. But the reality star -- who describes life after “The City” as “crazy” -- is still gallivanting around Manhattan and hitting up some of her favorite spots such as Freemans, The Box and the summertime boat-and-bar hybrid The Frying Pan.
While Lucas and Port may no longer be besties on or off-screen, Lucas says she is working on a return to television.
“I’ve got a couple projects I’m really busy working on," she said. "I’m really excited… but can’t talk about them just yet.”

MY NY: Olivia Palermo's 5 Fave NYC Spots
Oh Olivia! We've watched this NYC fashion plate go from controversial socialite to bona fide celebrity all in a New York minute. Given that Palermo is the star of The City, we thought it was only natural that she share her NYC with us. Whether it's a sweet candy shop in Brooklyn or a Park Avenue ping-pong club(!), the young tastemaker shows us her five fave spots to escape from those pesky paparazzi.

Whitney Port, Roxy Olin & Olivia Palermo: GLITTEROUS Opening Reception
Zach Hyman And The Shaltzes sounds like the name of a band, but it's actually a photography group featuring Carrie Shaltz and Zach Hyman, who is making his debut on "The City" this upcoming season. Whitney Port, Roxy Olin and Olivia Palermo all stopped by to support the new castmember at the opening of "Glitterous".
Glitterous is a new photography exibit at Chair and The Maiden, which is a collection of photographs taken across the US, mostly nude, often with glitter. The photographs were described on PMc as being "exciting, sexual, free-spirited and always edgy", but nothing the photographers wouldn't want their families to see, as both sets of parents were at the opening.
Btw, earlier we speculated that Hyman was brought onto the show to be Roxy's boyfriend…well the recently released trailer seems to support this theory, even though Roxy has been dating Alex Lobel for about three months or so.

Whitney Port: Sued Over Fashion Line
While Whitney Port’s design career is taking off in stores, on the runway and on-screen, she may have hit her first major hiccup — a lawsuit filed by designer Adrienne Baravetto, who claims she helped Port design and launch her line (then called Eve & A) starting in 2007. As first reported by TMZ.com, Baravetto alleges she had an oral agreement with Port and her father, including a $80,000 yearly salary plus a 25 percent stake in the company. Baravetto also alleges that she did virtually all the design work and that the Ports haven’t paid her a dime. Port’s lawyer Michael A. Taitelman tells PEOPLE, “The lawsuit that Adrienne Baravetto filed on March 19, 2010 against Whitney Eve, Inc., Whitney Port and others regarding the Whitney Eve clothing line is baseless and without merit. Whitney Port is, and always has been, the designer of Whitney Eve. Baravetto worked for Whitney Eve for a short period of time ending in early 2008. For more than two years, she has been silent. For reasons that we will uncover, she has decided to make these unsubstantiated allegations at this time. The defendants will vigorously defend themselves, and upon the successful conclusion of this lawsuit in their favor, they intend to hold Baravetto and her counsel accountable for their reckless conduct.” Says Baravetto’s attorney Peter Maretz, “Ms. Baravetto did the heavy lifting for these designs and she just wants to get paid fairly.”

New Trailer for The City: Season 2!
A couple of interesting things to note about the new trailer for Season Two of The City (premiering April 27 at 10:30/9:30c):
1) Olivia Palermo still has a job at Elle. (Damn, who she got lookin' out for her in HR?) Joe Zee's even come up with a brilliant idea to make 'Liv the face of Elle.com. How long ya think till Erin Kaplan stabs her own eye with a Louboutin?
2) Whitney's confrontation skills greatly improved over the break. She's even learned how to call someone a "bitch." (To their face!)
3) Kelly Cutrone is still running the s**t out of People's Rev and getting Whit's back no matter where (or how far) she wanders. How do WE get hooked up with a fairy godmother like Kel? (There may or may not be an offer on the table for free promotion and a lightly used 'World's Best Boss' coffee mug in exchange for a friend request on Facebook.)
Check out the video to see what else is in store!
