Johannes Huebl as 'The Manny' (video)

The video, shot in the summer of 07, was used as a promotional tool for the novel, "The Manny". In it, the relatively unknown German model Johannes Huebl (and later boyfriend to Olivia Palermo) plays a manny to a desperate Upper East Side Mother. The video's rap is recited like something your Middle School teacher would play to teach you about fractions.
I genuinely laughed outloud while watching this video–and not only at the video's expense! Tinsley Mortimer makes a completely random and gratuitous appearance , but it's ok because hearing her purr into the camera "He's got a sweet ass" was awesome.
And speaking of gratuitous, there are a lot of shots of Huebl, tanned and shirtless on a bed, massaging various older women who brag about how he can "bang all day".
The video ends with Johannes in bed, deadpanning to the camera: "It's good to be the manny."
And now, as if we had any doubt before, we know it's good to be Olivia Palermo, too.

Olivia Palermo films for 'The City' in Japan

A film crew trailed Olivia Palermo as she visited Tokyo’s fashion hot-spots including the brand new Ao Building in Omotesando.
The 24-year-old fashionista spoke to the Japanese crowd through a translator as she appeared as guest of honour at the launch of the Tibi ‘Napoleon and Josephine’ collection.
“It plays on opposites like masculine and feminine,” Olivia said of the line.
She was joined on stage by Tibi designer and founder Amy Smilovic.
After the show the New York socialite posed for pictures and signed autographs for her Japanese fans as she hit the shops and boutiques in Tokyo's trendy Omotesando.
The City is a big hit in Japan where it is shown on satellite and cable television.
'She was really surprised by all the attention,' said an onlooker.
'Lots of Japanese girls recognised her straight away and they weren't shy about approaching her for autographs.
“Olivia was really nice and spent a lot of time meeting everybody – and it was all caught on camera for her show.

Kristin Cavallari Brings The Drama

The Hills drama continues.
A tipsy Kristin Cavallari, 23, got into an early morning screaming match with a gorgeous brunette who was flirting with her ex Brody Jenner, 26, at the Nylon Young Hollywood party at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood Wednesday night.
Cavallari had been fuming since 10:20 p.m., when she spotted Jenner hitting on Hills co-star Audrina Patridge, 25, who didn't seem interested as she's dating Ryan Cabrera, 27.
Jenner stopped speaking to Patridge to try to calm down Cavallari, who was on her second beer, but she grabbed his arm angrily before they parted.
At midnight, Cavallari stood up quickly with her dress hiked to her waist -- flashing a pair of white mesh panties! She didn't seem too concerned, and pulled her dress back down. (Joked Cavallari's trainer John Damon to some pals, "See that sick body? That's because of me. I torment her on the treadmill!")
A few minutes later, a gorgeous brunette began chatting up Jenner, making Cavallari -- who gave the girl an icy hello -- increasingly annoyed. Cavallari, who had been drinking all night, threw a cell phone she'd received for free from a swag suite down on the floor in anger.
After about 30 minutes of Jenner's flirtation with the brunette, Cavallari approached her and began screaming as a Hills producer whispered into his microphone, "This is going to get ugly." The brunette's blonde friend also began yelling back at Cavallari.
Jenner intervened after about five minutes of fighting, pulling Cavallari away and giving her a hug. Cavallari smiled and flashed Jenner a hotel room key and the two of them -- with their arms all over each other -- took off together.
Jenner and Cavallari haven't dated since 2006, but have always had sexual tension. In an October episode of The Hills, Jenner's then-girlfriend Jayde Nicole demanded he choose one of them, and he admitted he "didn't know" if he had feelings for Cavallari.

Heidi Is Alienating Her Family, Says Dad

Heidi Montag’s father Bill Montag spoke to RadarOnline.com shortly after she called the cops on her mom Darlene Egelhoff and revealed his fears for his daughter's future.
Bill– who has not spoken to Heidi since his birthday in March– is worried about her welfare and could not believe that either Heidi or her husband Spencer Pratt refused to speak with his ex-wife. The Colorado rancher believes that his daughter is currently living a life that is pushing her family further and further away.
“Why would they call the police on Heidi’s mom, she is not a threat, it makes absolutely no sense, they need to show more respect," he told RadarOnline.com. “My daughter used to phone me several times a week but we have not spoken since my birthday."
Bill spoke with Darlene about her going to Los Angeles "to do some filming for [The Hills]" and "to find out exactly what was happening with our daughter."
Bill is perplexed by Heidi's decisions, especially because they are widening rifts between her and her family. “Heidi is my baby and I love her but I don’t understand what is happening right now. It is not normal behavior
“Family is very important because this fame thing will not last forever so she should not push us away because we will always love her. Darlene is Heidi’s mom so whatever issues they might have they need to talk about them and not call the police, that’s just ridiculous.
“I am concerned about my daughter’s welfare right now because I love her and don’t really know what is going-on with her and Spencer.”
