Olivia Palermo Finally Designs, Starts with Shoes
We keep hearing about Olivia Palermo becoming a designer but we haven't gotten to see anything she's done quite yet. In the meantime, the stylish one took her fashion sense philanthropic with a collaboration with red carpet favorite Stuart Weitzman. As part of the Young Hollywood Cares Collection, Olivia was only one of four girls, including Scarlett Johansson, Hayden Panettiere and Michelle Trachtenberg, who co-designed shoes with proceeds going towards Harvard professor Marsha Moses' ovarian cancer research.
Olivia was the first of the group to debut the celebrity-designed footwear when she attended The Smurfs world premiere in New York City in late July. Her creation, appropriately dubbed “The Olivia” is an ankle strap sandal with a 4-inch heel trimmed in fuchsia feathers which retails for $425. Olivia paired her new sandals with a neutral off-the-shoulder blouse and an ivory flared maxi by Elizabeth and James.
