currently waiting for them to both air but i have a feeling BOTH shows are gonna get cut ...from ratings to the show value itself..its just over with

ReplyDeleteThe Hills is just so fake and they are still getting into petty arguments...I can't get into it.
ReplyDeleteI've been really enjoying The City, though. I hope the ratings improve. I love to see them at the different workplaces...especially at Elle. It reminds me more of how The Hills used to be...and the friendships seem much more genuine.
I guess it all depends on what you like.
The Hills isn't the same without Lauren. She was the "sane" one of the bunch. She's classy and down to earth. Everyone else is just crazy and fake. Why does Stephanie always look so shiny? She needs to lay off the makeup and get some oil control.
ReplyDeleteThe City is just OK for me. I'd be surprised if it came back for another season. I think Erin is such a "B Word"!! I used to think Olivia was the biggest of them all, but Erin takes the cake. Why is she so jealous of Olivia?? I almost choked when she told Olivia to stop having an attitude.

ReplyDeleteI was happy we got to see more of Audrina and I loved seeing Kristin go back to Laguna Beach. Kristin's Dad is a riot and that comment about Brody was priceless. Mainly it was just nice to see Kristin relaxed and relatable. (And how much do I want to live in that house!!)
It's hard to know what to believe with all the scripted bits and the producers editing different chunks of filming time together, but I think that's always been an issue.
Anyway back to the show : ) Holly definitely seemed a bit out of control, reminded me a it of the rehearsal dinner scene. And did anyone else find it odd that Heidi needed to ask Stephanie questions about her own sister?
The scenes with Kristin and Justin are too forced for me. There's no chemistry there, no emotion. Boring! I truly don't understand why they didn't write in somebody new if they were going to give her a scripted romance? We've been dealing with the same guys for ages now (Brody Spencer Justin) and personally I'd love to see them switch things up.
I liked the scene with Audrina and Justin at the end, It's always nice to see Justin humbled ;)
And I guess that's it for Derrick. He seemed nice enough but a little too bland. Like Doug but better looking ;)

ReplyDeleteI thought the younger brother was the better looking one of the 2 but he was way too young, shame..
Freddy is a bit too slick for my tastes, he seems like a preppier east coast version of Brody. Whitney can do much better imo
I like Roxy, yes, she's a bit abrasive but what you see is what you get with her and I like that about her. I think she has a good heart.
It was great to see Allie and Adam for all of 2 seconds! I was annoyed that they didn't show any conversation at all with them. Boo MTV!
Not cool on Whitney's part to go out with Freddie if she had any inkling that Sami might have liked him. Why not pick up the phone and clear the air with Sami before going out with him.
Erin and Olivia. I think Olivia is doing well. I don't get what Erin's big issue with her is.
I think Erin may just be annoyed that she's worked hard to be where she is where as Olivia has basically had this plum job handed to her on a silver platter. Actually, that would tick me off too. I know Erin is supposed to be a superstar over at Elle but it's odd how impeccable Olivia always looks next to her.
sorry marcella!! I've been working extra hours (my co worker was just laid off) and Lindsay wasn't going to be around so it was just too hard to get organized for tonight. Maybe we'll try again in another few weeks.
ReplyDeleteThe new season of The Hills is weird, Kristin has taken over the show, & im not a fan of hers. They should of had Stephanie narrate. Didn't she win fan favorite last year?
ReplyDeleteI liked this episode of the hills a lot. The part with drina and jb struck a chord. sometimes we keep going back to our past when we should be moving forward. .

I don't like that Audrina gave in so quick to Justin! Why is Kristin saying they're together and Justin saying they're not! He just doesn't want Audrina to move on. He only wants her at his convenience. She can do much much better than him!
ReplyDeleteKristin's Dad was the best part of the show. His one liners were a riot - "Everyone needs a big tattoo on their stomach" and calling out Brody for being self absorbed? perfection! Kristin's Dad needs to be on every episode!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe no one mentioned Bentley! Kristin said she joined the show because she was hanging out with brody and all of them. obviously not because she hadn't seen bentley since he was a pup! she needs to get her stories straight.
ReplyDeleteI liked the sparks between Whitney and the first brother better. Harry? And I think Erin is super jealous of Olivia.
Oooh how I love this show. Justin Bobby. Ok, now thats one guy that has got it down-pact, he just knows how to talk, to move and to act to get every girls attention. I have to laugh to think that he's playing Kristin, but isn't it obvious? I think I am kind of rooting for the Audrina-Justin Bobby reconciliation, it just seems like that's the way it should be, regardless of Justin Bobby's games.
ReplyDeletei am liking Spencer and Heidi this season! Spencer wasn't his usual off the wall self about Holly's drinking and they have been more normal in general.
