The Hills is ridiculous now! It has always been suspect, but now it is just stupid... why are they even calling it "reality?" Everyone is sitting around in their McMansions driving their $100,000 cars and no one even pretends to goes to work? what the hell?
ReplyDeletebrody and jayde were never really even broken up/on a break. it's hard to like a show when the producers/writers/directors think all of us viewers are idiots.
ReplyDeleteLast night was the first time I watched the City this season. It was pretty good. I really didn't know what to expect and I was surprised at how entertaining it was. I still refuse to watch the Hills (yes I'm a Lauren fan) but every time I come across the Hills someone is yelling at someone or having lunch or planning a party or talking badly about someone. Is that really what that show has been reduced to? Sad!!
ReplyDeleteI think they are going overboard on the drama this season, but I still love the hills and Kristin...I think she just needs time to feel it out.

ReplyDeleteI'm not going to dissect the episode because for the first time I didn't watch and rewatch it, once was more than enough. Here are my gripes: where was Stephanie? Lo got about 1 minute of face time and the JB Audrina stuff was way too staged and ditto for everything with Kristin, Jayde and Brody. I was initially excited for this season thinking we'd get to see more of a backstory with Stephanie and more work stuff with Lo and Audrina but none of that has happened. Honestly I'm just not that interested in Brody or Jayde or this version of Kristin. And I don't understand why the producers are so intent on focusing on this love triangle that doesn't exist. It's beyond annoying. And for any Kristin fans out there, I'm not bashing Kristin, I was excited to have her join the show, but this is not Kristin. I would love to see the real Kristin because this fake scripted one does nothing for me.
Well said Kelli. I agree and am disappointed that we are not seeing more of Stephanie and Lo as well as "real" stuff about Audrina. I also want to add how crazy the Speidi "storyline" has been. On top of that they are dragging poor Enzo along for the ride. Hopefully he will get a good start on his college fund as a result.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand....The City has been increasingly interesting. Love all the work stuff and Whitney, too. Any word how they are doing with the ratings?
I just love the city. It is WAY classier and more entertaining than the hills. Its sad because lauren was the hills. Now its a trashy freak show. Everyone knows that Jayde and Brody never broke up. The producers must really think people are stupid. I just hate Kristin because she does not deserve to be on tv on laurens show.
ReplyDeleteI havent watched a sinle episode of the hills since lauren left (yes i am boycotting) and i will never watch it again. I do follow it through this blog and whenever i read about the fake stuff going on im just thankful that i stopped watching
the city is so cool.love it much than the hills.
ReplyDeletei have never wanted to watch the city so much.it is really good.i consider that the hills is awful.
The City is really entertaining yet it's not too dramatic, if you know what I mean. It's definitely more classier and seems real to me :)
ReplyDeleteThe Hills is really starting to bug me. All of the fake drama is so un-cool. At the beginning I was excited w/ Kristin joining and everything, but the episodes have sucked. BIG TIME.
