Roxy Olin Is Not an Olivia Palermo Fan

In the we-knew-it-all-along category: Olivia Palermo is as imperious as she seems. So says Roxy Olin, of MTV's "The City."
"Olivia is like that or even worse," Roxy tells Zap2it. "I don't know where the entitlement came from. I was raised with no matter what job you have, you treat everyone equal.
"My mom (Patricia Wettig of "Brothers & Sisters") is from Nowheresville and earned every penny, so every penny counts. Olivia acts so privileged. Have you even earned it? I can't comprehend it, even if you are so rich or so out there."
"It's so cutthroat in the fashion world, why take yourself that seriously?" she wonders. "What do you gain from it? It must be really lonely for Olivia. Don't you want to be involved and have someone to talk to? I guess she makes good TV. Maybe she will look at herself and say, 'I look like an idiot'."
"The City" can be a tough place to work. "There are things that get really hard for me. Emotionally, it takes a lot out of you because your name is on the bottom of the screen. Even if it isn't 100 percent reality or 100 percent the truth, it's always an extension of who you are. So when you watch it, the anxiety is different than the anxiety of a performance."
Still, Olin enjoys her role on the MTV series. "At the end of the day, it is Whitney [Port's] show. She knows every single person's name we work with. She goes out to lunch with everyone."

  3. I've interacted with Roxy in person and she's a bitch so I don't really think she can open her mouth about anyone else. She acts just as privileged if not more.
