Heidi Montag Gets a Puppy for Her Birthday
Clearly still in their honeymoon phase, Heidi Montag celebrated her 23rd birthday Tuesday with husband Spencer Pratt and a new addition to the "Speidi" family – a 9-week-old puppy! "Spencer gave me the best gift ever, a maltipoo puppy that we have named Dolly," Montag tells PEOPLE exclusively. The dog, named for country singer Dolly Parton, is white with black ears.
"I'm so excited today is my birthday," Montag says. "Thank you, God, for every moment you have given me and blessing me with my wonderful husband."
Also on the birthday agenda: dinner at their favorite restaurant, Wolfgang Puck's CUT, inside the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire hotel, where photographs of their faces adorn the restaurant's wall.

Kristin Cavallari: I've Lost Weight Due to Stress
What does Kristin Cavallari eat to stay slim?"I'll usually have eggs and fruit for breakfast and I try to do a salad with chicken for lunch. I try to eat really healthy," the Hills star, 22, told Usmagazine.com at the Alice and Olivia fashion show in New York City.
Her diet consists of "proteins and vegetables," says the actress, who typically eats salmon for dinner. (And she admits to splurging on those "little chocolates" that staff leaves in her hotel room while traveling.)
Cavallari says she's too busy promoting her MTV reality show to "sit down and pig out. I'm just on the go so much."
To keep her energy up, she "always has an energy bar with me, just in case I don't have time to eat, which is so bad," Cavallari tells Us. "I'm not normally like that. It's only been the past month. I have low energy and I get headaches a lot. I need to be better about it."
Cavallari says she's only had time to work out once over the past month.
"I did some lunges and push ups in my hotel room [before presenting at the MTV VMAs]," she says. "I've been a little stressed out. It's terrible, but stress can make you lose weight I guess."

Lauren Conrad participating in Habitat For Humanity's Fall VIP Experience Auction

The 'Hills' are alive with the sounds of Bitchiness
Where in the world was Audrina Patridge on Sunday night?
As I was the first to tell you, Aud canceled her appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards because, several sources tell me, she didn't like the producers' idea of having her present with her Hills nemesis, Kristin Cavallari.
"They offered me a presenting spot and I declined," Audrina tells us.
She wouldn't elaborate on the offer, but Kristin insists she wasn't the reason for Patridge's last-minute no-show.
"We were never supposed to present together," Cavallari told us as she walked the VMA red carpet. "I've known I was going to present with Nelly Furtado for a few days now."
That said, Cavallari says she's amused by the new Hills promo that features her vamped up in a body-hugging minidress and killer heels while devilishly laughing in front of a sign that proclaims, "The Bitch Is Back."
"It's fun to play the bad girl on TV," Kristin said. "I think it's really funny because anyone who knows me, my good friends, would never say I'm a man-eater, a boyfriend-stealer like they're making me out to be."
And yet she lived up to her witchy persona when we asked if she had any plans to see Patridge's new horror flick, Sorority Row.
Without missing a beat, Kristin smiled, "Probably not."

Lauren Conrad: NY Photo Shoot 9/15
Lauren Conrad laughed alongside a few girls at a photo shoot in NYC earlier today. She and the models were sporting her Have a Heart necklaces, which are part of her accessories collection with Mark cosmetics to benefit victims of domestic violence. Lauren's had a full schedule while in Manhattan, stopping by Rebecca Minkoff's show in a fashionable top and walking the red carpet at the VMAs on Sunday. The Hills is returning without Lauren this season, but it looks like she has enough to keep herself occupied without all of the show's latest drama.
