It’s been a little over a month since Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler called off their engagement, and the former star of “The Hills” couldn’t be more excited to be throwing herself into “Dancing with the Stars.”
“I’m good. I really am good,” Kristin told Access Hollywood Live’s Kit Hoover, following Monday night’s cast announcement in Los Angeles, of how she’s been doing since the split.
KCav revealed to E! reveals that keeping her mind off a broken engagement is one of the reasons she signed up. "What better time to do it and to stay busy and hopefully get in great shape," she says. "I got my first spray tan ever last night. Now I'm a real dancer! I'm so excited."
Kristin is the second star from “The Hills” to join “Dancing,” and she revealed Season 11 competitor Audrina Patridge gave her some advice.
“I talked to her the other day, she just said, ‘Have fun with it,’” Kristin said. “She said it gets really hard more towards the middle and closer to the end, but she said it’s so much fun and just to enjoy it.”
"Here's ur first look of what I'm gonna look like on DWTS! Shooting the opening of the show"
While plenty of stars join the show hoping to get the added bonus of dropping a few pounds, Kristin is looking forward to toning up her bikini-perfect body even more.
“I’m not here to lose weight,” she laughed. “But, I’m excited to tone up. Everyone says you’re gonna have muscles you didn’t even know you had, so I’m excited.”
When we asked about who her partner was, a huge smile broke out on her face, but of course she wouldn't reveal who it was. "When I found out I was like, 'Yes! That's who I wanted!' " Hmmm, now who would Cavallari be overly excited about dancing the samba with?
