Lauren Conrad: Some Of My Favorite Beauty And Fashion Looks Of All Time

Allure asked me to share some of my favorite beauty and fashion looks of all time (check out the album all week—we’ll be adding new pics every day). This is definitely one! It’s from the MTV Movie Awards in 2009—this dress was originally a tent dress, and we completely altered the silhouette to make it fitted. Not very many people liked this look, but I was trying something new and I stand by it. I don’t take chances as much as I should on the red carpet, but I had fun with this look. I wore a shrunken leather jacket with it that evening and felt very rock and roll.

Whitney recently spoke to Contact Music and revealed she doesn't care if people dislike her personal style.
Whit explained: "I feel like I'm open to all kinds of silhouettes. As long as it's flattering on the body it doesn't matter if it's really out there. I can be a risk taker when it comes to fashion and I don't really care if people accept my style."
Whitney also revealed: "I'm trying to be very experimental with my hair. I'm over my colour really quickly so I change it every two weeks.
"Recently I got it really blonde but then I thought, 'I feel so LA', so now I've gone for a strawberry blonde shade instead."

Lauren Conrad's New Website: 'The Beauty Department'

Here is a sneak peek at a few photos from Lauren's new website 'The Beauty Department'
Lauren will be launching the site with her make-up artist Amy Nadine and her her hair stylist Kristin Ess.
This is how Lauren described the site to Allure.com: "the site will offer beauty tips: how to do the hottest runway tricks. How to wear purple eyeliner. How to do beach curls. The idea is to eventually roll out a cosmetics and hair line. And best of all Lauren will be starring in some video tutorials.

Spotted: Whitney Port and Ben Nemtin at the first day of the 2011 Coachella Music & Arts Festival in Indio, CA on Friday (April 15).
Whit & Ben weren't shy with the PDA, as the duo were busy kissing one another while checking out the music.
And although Whitney isn't shy about expressing her love for Ben, she recently proclaimed that she'll never do a reality show with him.
She told Look magazine, "I'll never film with Ben, ever. The key to our relationship is that we both communicate and understand this crazy role that we play in the crazy world that we live in. We try to keep our relationship a bit sacred."
