Is Lauren Conrad's Book LA Candy Headed for Television?

Business savvy Lauren Conrad hit Fashion’s Night Out to promote her new clothing line Paper Crown, and dropped a hint about the future of her popular book, “L.A. Candy.”
Former Hills star Lauren Conrad has segued her successful reality career into a full-time job as a fashion designer, author, and now possibly a prime time producer.
Lauren told SheKnows Thursday night at her Paper Crown launch that her bestselling book series, L.A. Candy, will in fact not be hitting the big screen, despite past plans to do so.
“Let’s see, what can I say?” L.C. carefully worded her response to us. “It will not be a movie.”
Lauren’s company, Blue Eyed productions, bought the rights to the screenplay and she was quoted in 2010 saying the movie was in its “early stages.”
But Candy fans need not fret. You may actually get more out of this than expected.
“We are exploring options in television,” Lauren told SheKnows.
That means multiple episodes instead of just one film…we say sweet deal!

I'm so excited about the prospect of a television series! I would love to see LA Candy on ABC Family right next to Pretty Little Liars and Switched At Birth! I think the network would be the perfect fit for both Lauren and the series. What do you think?

Whitney Port's been a busy girl! On Friday September 9, Whitney arrived at the 2nd Annual Elle fashion/next event wearing a retro-esque green mini dress. She then took in both the Charlotte Ronson Spring 2011 show in a white dress & Rafael Cennamo's Spring 2012 presentation in a grey dress.
Then she headed over to Charlotte Ronson's after party at CO-OP Food & Drink to cap off her night.

Olivia Palermo was the belle of the ball at the gala for Montblanc's Collection Princesse Grace de Monaco. The brunette socialite dazzled in a demure long-sleeved Valentino dress embossed with glimmering flowers.
The Spring 2011 frock's peek-a-boo back showed off a tasteful amount of skin, while a sleek updo lent itself perfectly to Olivia's ladylike vibe. She added a whimsical touch with a cream feathered clutch.

Whitney Port Celebrates Fashion's Night Out

Whitney celebrated Fashion's Night out in NYC by attended two events. First she mingled at Giuseppe Zanotti's Boutique and from there she headed over to the DVF Celebration. Lucky girl!
