Lauren Conrad on Her Paper Crown Holiday Collection & Her Thanksgiving Plans - Video

Lauren Conrad made an appearance at 'Cusp' in Century City yesterday for a meet & greet with fans and to showcase her new Paper Crown holiday collection.
Lauren, wearing a pretty ensemble from her line chatted with PopSugar editor Katie Henry at the event. Lauren walked us through her latest looks, and she told us what she'll be doing this Thanksgiving.
Lauren: "I usually just go home for Thanksgiving, but I'm the chef. I learned very quickly that if you're the chef, you get to stay in the kitchen all day and you don't have to do any dishes at the end, so that's the job I go for."
Lauren definitely deserves the time off with how busy she's been. In addition to her fashion line, she's also currently working on a beauty book of tips and tricks, and we may even be seeing her back on TV! MTV is rebooting Punk'd and Lauren was one of the first victims. The experience is apparently still fresh in her mind.
Lauren: They terrified me, I almost cried. I was really upset. And the worst part is at the end, they were like, oh, and then you realize everyone around you has been lying to you for several weeks and then they were telling me all the stuff they were going to do, and I was like, that's terrible.
But no hard feelings. For now, Lauren's just looking ahead to the coming weeks.
Lauren: Just this whole month is about spending time with your friends and family, and I'm a big fan of the holidays, so I'm excited.

Rumors Swirl About Scott Disick & Kristin Cavallari

Kristin Cavallari is fighting back, shooting down a new cover story from Life & Style, which claims she had a fling with Kourtney Kardashian's baby daddy, Scott Disick, several years ago.
"First of all, it's 100 percent not true," Kristin told Access Hollywood's Billy Bush in an interview for Access and Wednesday's "The Billy Bush Show." "I just think, what convenient timing for them with their show premiering next week and with everything that's going on for Kim [Kardashian], I feel like they're trying to take the heat off her."
In Life & Style's new issue, the mag claims Kristin and Scott hooked up several years ago, before Kourtney Kardashian became pregnant with Mason, her son with Scott.
Kristin suggested to Billy that the timing of the story was too close for comfort, seemingly putting the blame for the story on the Kardshian clan.
"When there's a big story like that, they always call you and ask if you want to comment and clearly none of them denied it, so it's very... it's really disrespectful to me and I'm in a committed relationship. It's disrespectful to me and Jay [Cutler] and I think it just says a lot about their character," Kristin told Billy.
While there was no reference of a comment in Life & Style's cover story from either Kristin or the Kardashians, a rep for Life & Style told Access Hollywood all parties in the story were contacted for the report. The rep added that the mag stands 100 percent behind the reporting on its story.
A source close to the Kardashians called Kristin's suggestions "absurd."
"Like they need publicity?" the source added.
As for Jay, Kristin said her on-again beau, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay, "didn't believe [the report] for one second."
"People can say whatever they want, it's crazy, it blows my mind," Kristin added. "Everyone says don't worry about it, something like this, it really makes me mad."

What's up With Lauren Conrad & Glee's Corey Monteith?

Ever since her split from My Boys​' Kyle Howard this past summer, Lauren Conrad's dating life has been a song and dance. . . literally. In late September, The Hills star spent several date nights with Derek Hough of Dancing with the Stars. But after a month of wooing, it seems Hough couldn't score as high with Conrad as he did with the judges. But fear not LC's fans, because she has sought out some new dating talent in the form of Glee's Cory Monteith​.
People magazine spotted the two at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood on Saturday evening. Conrad spent the evening chatting up Monteith while she sipped on cocktails and busted a few moves. Before heading out for the evening, she not so casually slipped him her digits.
So is this a new love or a new friendship? LC took to her Twitter today to squash any rumors about her current love life saying, "'Once upon a time there was a boy and a girl. They were friends. The end.' - The story no one wants to read."

Lauren Conrad at Sophia Rossi's Birthday Celebration

On Saturday, November 12, Lauren Conrad, looking pretty in all black attended the dual birthday celebration for Sophia Rossi (former Hills producer) and Liz Meriwether at Rock & Reilly’s Irish Pub in West Hollywood.
Fellow guests including Zooey Deschanel, Nicole Richie, Jamie-Lynn Sigler & Couger Town's Busy Philips danced to classic rock and roll hits, took photos in Reilly’s photo booth and enjoyed cocktails throughout the night.
In case you haven't read it yet Sophia recently did a terrific interview with the The Daily Beast where she discussed everything from 'The Hills' to her website Hello Giggles. Check out an excerpt below:
"Rossi’s real break came with The Hills. As a talent producer on the show, she had to cajole, calm, listen to, and at times persuade the show’s stars to do things they might not want to do. It was perfect: she was essentially being paid to be friends with people. She and Conrad became particularly tight.
“There was a trust factor,” Rossi says. “Lauren and I are still really close, but I’d be really honest with her. I’d be like, ‘You have to go to the birthday party. You can leave early, but you have to go.’

“The hardest part for me was having to be so emotional. If Lauren was crying, I’d cry. If she and Audrina [Patridge] were going to fight, I’d cry … I was sort of like a double agent. I’d know they were going to fuck with Lauren. I’d know they were going to send Heidi [Montag] in. So I’d tell Lauren, ‘Lauren, something’s going to happen.’ And she would trust that so much more.”
Working on The Hills, Rossi says, “I was always nervous. Everything that could go wrong was on me.”
