Lauren Conrad Signs Copies of 'The Fame Game' at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles

Lauren Conrad signed copies of her new book "The Fame Game at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in LA on Tuesday night, April 24.. The designer-turned-author sported a new temporary do by adding streaks of fuchsia to her hair.
On Tuesday, LC tweeted about the idea, nudging her hair stylist. “Trying to convince @Kristin_Ess to dye my tips fuchsia for tonight’s book signing,” she wrote. After lots of positive encouragement, Conrad went for it — going “Fuchsia Barbie,” as Ess joked — sharing a photo of the results and calling her colorful updo her “Little (pink) Pony.”
Conrad has had a lot of fun with her hair color in the past year: normally a blonde, she went brunette last January, switching back six months later. Since then, though, she’s tried the peach look, then dip-dyed her ends in a variety of hues before adding subtle blue highlights. Check out photos of her colored locks below.

  1. I'm not a fan of the pink ponytail. I wish Lauren would experimment more with her makeup and clothes instead of her hair color. She always looks good but she doesn't push the envelope enough. I'd love to see her ditch the winged eyeliner, neutral dressea and skinny jeans and try a few other choices instead.

    2. Ditto on the curly pink tail, it does not look right, its too little baby girly looking. I'm ok with the eyeliner look. She always look'd great with a long beach wave look....If anyone could move that look into the corporate look Lauren could do it. Maybe more shaggy loose curls with some lowlights would look better.

  2. my thoughts exactly! i had just commented on how she needs to change it up. her look is becoming very dated. i think she was ahead of the trends a few years ago and now it's everywhere and boring.

  3. Tough crowd! ;) Personally I love her style but more so her casual everyday looks. I like that she keeps her outfits simple but always looks effortlessly chic.

  4. I think her foundation might be a bit too pale...

  5. Eeek. Bad hair, bad eyeliner, bad spiked top. I agree with most of these comments.
