Audrina Patridge: my favorite moments at comic con

It's official: Ladies love getting their geek on at Comic-Con.

Even though it's been perceived in the past as a "fanboys only" festival, some of Hollywood's hottest actresses are embracing it as their own as they meet their most passionate audience. Some even want to sneak around in costume!

First timer Audrina Patridge says she loves the fans who don constumes. "I first heard about Comic-Con from watching Entourage a couple of years ago but I've never been," Patridge said of her trip to San Diego to tell fans about her latest acting gig in Sorority Row. "I mean, there are so many comic fans and people dressing up on the street!"

"I just love that there are so many people in costumes," agreed Zombieland's Emma Stone. "I haven't been on the floor yet. I've just seen them walking around. I haven't gotten to see the true diehards yet. I can't wait to see all the homemade costumes."

Some of the ladies are even considering joining the fans in costume and checking out the scene incognito. Patridge wants to go undercover as Star Wars' Princess Leia, while Kristin Bell would love to be Chewbacca – even though she may be a bit height-challenged to become a Wookiee. "Maybe I could just have a hole in the bellybutton that I could see out of," she laughed. "I could make it work."

Audrina Patridge and her 'Sorority Row' castmates at Comic-Con 2009

Audrina Patridge, Rumer Willis, Briana Evigan, Margo Harshman and Leah Pipes attended Summit Entertainment's "Sorority Row" signing at Comic-Con 2009 held at the San Diego Convention Center on July 23, 2009 in San Diego, California. The annual comic book and popular arts convention attracts over 100,000 people and runs through Sunday July 26.

Spending time out on the back patio at San Diego Comic-Con is surreal as Tim Burton and Sigourney Weaver walk casually by and Robert Pattinson bums a cigarette, but when you get to talk to a small group of beautiful women about horror, the day is perfect.

The leading ladies of Sorority Row were pressed for time but gave us a few moments to talk about providing a strong role model for young women all over the world who aspire to create carnage and mayhem in the bloodiest way possible.

What can we expect from the film? Bloodshed, hot girls and guys and a body count decent enough to make horror fans grin from ear to ear. When asked for one word to describe the action, Rumor Willis said "BRUTAL" with no small amount of pride.

Look past the model good looks that abound in Sorority Row and settle in for a killer time.

Audrina Patridge does Comic Con

Out taking part in the day’s festivities, Audrina Patridge was spotted walking to Comic-Con in San Diego, California on Thursday (July 23).

She later blogged about the event:
Comic-Con was insane! There were sooo many people! And on top of that - sooo many of them were dressed up! The costumes were outrageous! I first heard about Comic-Con from watching Entourage a couple of years ago but I've never been. I mean, there are so many comic fans and people dressing up on the street! It was so fun! For the record, I was there strictly for business! ;)
My new movie, Sorority Row, had a panel on Thursday, and I was fortunate to attend for the first time ever! We were on right before the Twilight panel -- I'm a big fan! After that my fellow Theta Pi sisters and I hit the halls of the San Diego Convention Center to find the best costume caper. I ran into Ryan Seacrest and he helped me and Rumer Willis look for the guy in the bunny suit with the big hands. We found him! Comic-con is outrageous!
Maybe I'll attend and dress up as Princess Leia next year! ;)
