Holly Montag: Heidi Won't Appear "Nude" in Playboy

The naked truth about Heidi Pratt's photos in the September issue of Playboy?
She doesn't bare all.
"She's not nude," her sister Holly Montag told Usmagazine.com Monday at Ryan Sheckler X Games Celebrity Classic in Coto De Caza, Calif. "Her Maxim cover was so gorgeous and tasteful, and I know Playboy is going to be the same. It's really cool that she can be part of the Playboy family. I love it. I go up there all the time and play poker. I love the girls there, and it's very cool to be a part of that legacy."She is equally psyched for her sister to perform at the 2009 Miss Universe Pageant telecast on Aug. 23."She will kill it," Holly said. "I know she will give the best performance ever. She's a phenomenal performer and dancer. That's what she's born to do. I think when she's stepping into her own in singing and concerts, people will see that that's where she really shines."
Oh, and how are things with her new brother-in-law Spencer Pratt?
"We're actually getting along really well right now," Holly told Us. "I don't want to jinx it, but he's been awesome as a brother and better than ever."

Lauren Conrad Wants To Adapt Book – Not Star in the Movie

She's already a reality TV star, designer and author, but Lauren Conrad may soon be adding "producer" to her resume.

The Hills star, 23, whose debut novel L.A. Candy topped the New York Times Best Seller list, could be taking the book to the big screen.

"Lauren's goal is to get into producing – it always was," a source tells PEOPLE. "It was always to make L.A. Candy into a film or TV show. She's been in talks about it"

And while "no deal [is] in place just yet," adds the source, "that's her ultimate goal."

Fans shouldn't expect to see her acting though – she'll be working behind the camera.

"She would never star in it because she doesn't want to be an actress," says the source. "She spent so long on TV …[she] would love to produce."

Did Kristin Cavallari hook up with Nick Lachey again?

According to US Weekly - it sure looks that way!
In their August 3rd issue they report that the two ex-lovers were spotted getting cozy at Dusk Nightclub in Atlantic City NJ on July 18th.
According to the mag, "Around 2AM, Lachey sidled up to Cavallari in a dark corner booth in the roped-off VIP area and put his arm around her. After downing champagne and shots of Patron tequila, the pair left together at 3:15AM - though a source later said, Kristin headed upstairs to sleep, and Nick went to gamble."

Brody Jenner: no longer close with Lauren Conrad?

Audrina Patridge apparently isn't the only Hills starlet Brody Jenner isn't hanging out with at the moment.

The once inseparable Brody Jenner-Lauren Conrad duo is no longer attached at the hip, either.

"I haven't seen much of her since she left the show," he admitted to E! recently. "I ran into her out and about a week ago just by chance, but that's it."

"She's off somewhere. Uh, Indonesia? I don't know, maybe on her honeymoon?"

Lauren is happily dating Kyle Howard, but there is no engagement we know of.

Guess that's his way of saying he has no clue what she's up to. We know Lauren has been busy with her book tour, but she apparently hasn't been texting.

As for Kristin Cavallari, who will be replacing Lauren Conrad on The Hills this upcoming season (and who Brody also used to date), she's shaking things up.

"Kristin's obviously a little bit more opinionated, and she comes in there and likes to stir up the pot," Brody Jenner says. "Lauren is much more docile and she likes to just let things cruise by, to roll with it. It's a different kind of energy."

With all the fighting that goes on among the Hills regulars, will there ever be peace and quiet for the bickering bunch? Maybe. But with who?

"There has definitely been some reconciliation," Brody said. "I can't tell you who it was with, but there is some drama that has been put to an end."

Hollywood may take bite of Lauren Conrad's ' LA Candy'

If you need your fix of Lauren Conrad now that she'll no longer be appearing on "The Hills," cross your fingers: She could be coming to a big screen near you.
The former reality star has revealed that a celluloid adaptation of her roman à clef novel, "L.A. Candy," could be in the works very soon.
"We're hoping for a movie deal," Conrad told us while hosting the Pool After Dark party at Harrah's in Atlantic City over the weekend. "I'm working on [adapting the book for the movies] right now, but I don't want to commit to anything until I see all my options. We have had a lot of exciting news in that respect, though."
As for casting, Conrad has no clue. "I haven't even thought about it," she confessed. And we know what that means - Conrad could be playing ... herself! Er, we mean the protagonist, Jane Roberts - a girl who moves to Hollywood, gets her own reality show and ends up working at an events company, à la Conrad herself.
The Orange County native is also penning her second book. "I actually finished the first draft - I'm doing edits right now," she confided. "It picks up where the first left off. I signed a three-book deal, so this is all part of the same story. The second book will be more dramatic than the first. It's a relief, because I didn't have to worry about character introductions."
But is LC writing her own stories? Frenemy - and former "Laguna Beach" co-star Kristin Cavallari - recently said she thought "L.A. Candy" may have been ghostwritten. "Lauren says she wrote it, but I don't know," Cavallari laughed. "Writing a book is not so easy."
A stone-faced Conrad retaliated: "I wrote my book, and I don't really feel the need to defend it. I've been writing forever. I have never written anything professionally before, so this was a big step for me. [Writing] was always my best subject in school, and it's something I've always loved to do.”
