Spotted: Lauren Conrad leaveing Beacher's Madhouse at the Hollywood Roosevelt in Hollywood, CA on September 28th, 2011.
She was decked out in leather pants and a blue top for the night out, which came just before her pal Lo Bosworth's 25th birthday today. LC has been busy with social and work commitments all month, starting with her appearance at Fashion's Night Out and continuing with a recent photo shoot for her Kohl's collection. LC is currently using her skills for a more personal project — she's working on her Halloween costume and shared a picture of her progress on Twitter.
In addition to her latest dress-up design, LC's also developing her own makeup line as she continues to expand her business empire.

Whitney Port: Out & About in LA

Whitney Port was spotted out & about in LA, today September 27.
Whit recently spoke with Beth Schepens at The Wall Street Journal during London fashion week. Check out what she had to say below.
What’s in store for your fall collection?
It’s a lot of Aztec-y prints. I do custom prints, so they’re really fun and colorful. I have these wide-legged, kind of palazzo pants, as well as a more tapered version in prints and in solids. And then a lot of fun silky dresses that have print placement and blocking.
When you are creating your looks, who are designing for?
I think I design for myself and my friends and my sisters. I think about what they wear on a daily basis and what they think they need. I do a little market research with them, like “What do you want for next season?” I combine that together with the inspiration I get from the travel I do.
What was your inspiration for this latest collection?
This lifestyle of the L.A. girl mixed with the New York girl, which is what I find myself being constantly. In terms of the color palettes and the prints, it was inspired by this trip that I took to Africa last October.
What is your style advice?
It’s not necessarily about what everyone else is wearing or what’s on trend or what the celebrities are wearing. If it doesn’t work for you, you don’t have to go with it.

Kelly Cutrone Taking Over For André Leon Talley On 'America's Next Top Model'

We did a double take when we spotted Kelly Cutrone's tweet this morning saying, "It's true! I am joining America's Next Top Model!" We loved her no-nonsense boss lady ways on The City, so we're excited to see what advice she dishes out to the ANTM contestants. We dug a little deeper and found that Kelly's not only joining the Top Model team, but she's taking over Vogue editor André Leon Talley's spot on the show.
Kelly told Jethro Nededog at The Hollywood Reporter "I am a huge fan of America's Next Top Model and have watched the show for years. Having worked in various aspects of the fashion industry over the course of my career, I am excited for this new opportunity and hope to bring a different perspective to the show."
I haven't watched ANTM for a few years now but I'll definitely be tuning in to see Kelly on the panel. I think she'll add an interesting dynamic in the same way Janice Dickenson did (only less nutty!):)

Olivia Palermo Shops at Century 21

Spotted: Olivia Palermo checking out the latest fashion trends at the new Century 21 department store on the Upper West Side in NYC.
Olivia's love for style started at a young age. “Fashion is something that interests me on a daily basis – it started when I would see my mother and aunt get dressed up and go out at night in the city.”
Liv explains that her daily style has evolved into something that is flexible, practical, and relaxed. “I think about versatility – and I’d be lying if I said the weather wasn’t a factor. I love layered looks using vests or jackets,” she replied when asked how she decides what to wear for the day.

Kristin Cavallari Channeling Marilyn Monroe

Kristin & Mark's dance was a hit with the crowd and most of the judges, par Len Goodman, who took aim at Mark for breaking a hold in the number.
“Apparently Mark’s a little bit of a rule-breaker,” Kristin laughed. “But for him, it’s more about what the crowd likes and the fans like rather than what the judge likes. So, yeah, we broke a couple rules, but, eh? What are you going to do?”
*Update*
Hooray- Kristin and Mark are safe and will compete next week!
