Lauren Conrad & Kyle Howard Leaving Crown Bar 12/11

Spending a Friday night out on the town, Lauren Conrad and boyfriend Kyle Howard were spotted leaving Crown Bar in West Hollywood last evening (December 11).
The former reality TV star that seems to be flying under the radar as of late looked happy to be out as she and her beau made their way through a crowd of gawking onlookers.
As for the absence from the public spotlight, perhaps Ms Conrad has been busy working on her first style book - which is rumored to be published next fall.
Of the book, Lauren says, “I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are. When you wear clothes you feel good in, it shows in everything you do. I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous.”

Stephanie Pratt Not Fired From The Hills

Today a rumor popped up that Stephanie Pratt has been fired from The Hills, but Hollyscoop can report exclusively that it’s false information.
Star magazine falsely reported that Stephanie was fired by MTV from the reality show as a result of her DUI arrest. The source said, “Producers like catfights and broken romances, not drama that involves breaking the law. Stephanie just became this major mess and was too much of a liability.”
But Hollyscoop spoke directly with Stephanie’s rep, who told us exclusively, “As of right now Stephanie is still in negotiation for a 6th season on The Hills with MTV. We have not heard anything from the network about her leaving. Stephanie was not on the last 4 episodes of the show for this most recent season due to her having to take some time off to handle her DUI. This story is false.”
Like we said before, if Stephanie does decide to leave the show, it’ll be on her own terms!

Audrina Patridge puts her creativity to fashionable good use for Starlight Children’s Foundation

On Dec. 19, 2009 Forever 21, Inc. is launching a charitable line of T-shirts personally designed by celebrities with 100 percent of the proceeds to benefit Starlight Children’s Foundation – helping seriously ill children and their families cope with their pain, fear and isolation through entertainment, education and family activities.
The celebrity designers which include Audrina Patridge – were given art materials, to create a unique painting on canvas using the themes of “star” and “light.” Forever 21 designers incorporated each celebrity’s design onto a cotton T-shirt or tank top.
“Starlight is a great foundation to help children and their families cope with their pain" said Patridge. I absolutely love children and any chance I get to help, I’m there! I feel it’s important for people to be there for children and inspire them and help educate them.”
The special line of T-shirts will be available for purchase in select Forever 21 stores and online at Forever 21. The T-shirts will retail for $12.80. Additionally, each celebrity’s original artwork will be up for auction at Starlight’s eBay store starting Dec. 21.

Whitney Port Defends 'Jersey Shore'

The City star Whitney Port says MTV's latest reality phenomenon, Jersey Shore, is about entertaining, not offending.
Italian-Americans have complained about the series, which features eight tanned, hard-partying, self-declared "guidos" and "guidettes" as they drink, dance, hook up, and, with varying work ethics, try to sell T-shirts. Two advertisers have backed off.
At the launch of Tacori's new fashion jewelry collection 18K925, Port told TVGuide.com that although the show features over-the-top stars, "you could say that about any reality show."
"Everybody is trying to get their most exaggerated side out there and to cause drama," the 24-year-old said. "But it's definitely entertaining."
Whitney's own reality show, The City, was recently picked up for Season 2 and will focus on the launch of her fashion line, Whitney Eve.
"They're chronicling the whole process from starting to design, to the fashion show at Bryant Park [and] everyone's back in action," she said.
