Hills' Gals: Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag's Split Is a Lie

For those losing sleep over Speidi's separation, the joke may be on you. Several of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's Hills castmates say the duo's breakup is just another one of their publicity stunts.
"I think it's a joke," Audrina Patridge told PEOPLE at the MTV Movie Awards in L.A. Sunday. "I don't believe it. They're inseparable and in love."
Also questioning the validity of the split is Hills-turned-City gal Whitney Port. "I doubt they're really broken up," she said. "I'm sure they're still sticking together."
While there's no official word on whether or not the Pratts will return to The Hills for the final episodes, costar Lo Bosworth thinks Montag and Pratt are hoping a sham split gives them more tube time. "I don't buy it," she said. "I've worked with them for too long, and they haven't been filming, so I think this is a way they think they can get back on the show for the last few episodes.
One person definitely not coming back is the show's original star Lauren Conrad.
"She was on the show for awhile and it was her spinoff, so it'd be nice if she could come back for the finale and say one last goodbye," Patridge said. "But she doesn't want to, so that's fine."

Audrina Patridge Reconnecting with Mark Salling?

Reunited ... and it feels so good.
Newly single Audrina Patridge bumped into Glee's Mark Salling at Katy Perry's post-MTV Movie Awards bash at John Terzian and Brian Toll's Las Palmas in Hollywood.
With a drink in her hand, Patridge ran over and gave Salling a hug -- and the two posed for a series of photos together.
Patridge couldn't help but contain her excitement at the party: "At katy perry's vma after party:)!!!" she Twittered.
She first met Salling at an Us Weekly Hot Hollywood party in Los Angeles last year, where they spent 45 minutes flirting and laughing.

Whitney Port Dishes on The City and Olivia Palermo

This season on the city, we've seen Whitney Port battle many obstacles -- namely the harsh world of fashion and her frenemy Olivia Palermo.
On the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, we asked Port why she finally decided to face off against Palermo in a recent episode.
"That was intense. I mean, I think people saw a side to me that not a lot of people see," she admitted. "But I can assert myself. I'm capable of it, and i think she deserved it."
And where does their relationship stand now?
"We don't really have that much contact," she said. "I try to just continue to do my thing and not let that negativity really affect me."
As for her fashion line, Whitney Eve, she says she's trying not to let the criticism get her down.
"It's tough, because you work so hard on something and it's one of those things where it's so opinion-based that not everybody's's gonna love it," she said. "But I'm still really passionate about it, working hard on it, and I hope people will see my point of view and want to wear it at the end of the day."

Ashley Greene Replaces Lauren Conrad As The New Face of Mark

It looks like Ashley Greene is a Mark-ed woman. The 23-year-old actress has inked a deal as the newest ambassador for Avon’s affordable beauty and fashion brand, Mark. And she has some stylish shoes to fill, following in the footsteps of former Hills star Lauren Conrad, whose contract with the brand is ending. “I am thrilled to join the mark family,” Ashley says in a release. “Mark has been on my radar not only because of their great fashion and beauty products, but because the brand inspires young women to feel beautiful inside and out.” Be on the look-out for Ashley’s television and print ads, which will roll out this fall.

I didn't even know about Mark before Lauren came along, I think she put their name on the map so to speak so I'm pretty disappinted they're not continuing with her. How do you guys feel? Smart move on their part or bad decision?

Lo Bosworth On The 'Hills Finale' and Speidi's Break-up

This summer, after five long seasons, "The Hills" will come to a close on MTV. And according to one of the show's stars, Lo Bosworth, things are ending at a perfect time.
"I'm looking forward to it coming to an end," admitted Bosworth on the red carpet at the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday. "But it's bittersweet, too. I love the crew, I love MTV. And it's kind of like leaving a family. So it's sad."
But it's unlikely that Bosworth's roommate and former "Hills" star Lauren Conrad will be making an appearance on the show's final episode.
"I don't think she's coming back. That ship has sailed," Bosworth said.
Of course, we couldn't let the girl go without getting her thoughts on the current Speidi situation -- are Heidi and Spencer really separating?
"No. I don't buy into it at all," Bosworth said definitively. "I'd advise you to not either."
