Then and Now: Where Are Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt?

If you're anything like us, you wake up each and every morning singing The Hills theme song — Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" — and wondering what Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt are up to.
Well, folks, the infamous Speidi has emerged from their crystal-covered cave. The couple was seen out and about in Beverly Hills last night (photos below), walking hand-in-hand after a romantic dinner at Il Cielo restaurant. And while the blond-haired pair is nearly unrecognizable (ahem, Heidi) from their 2006 selves (left), they still seem to be going strong.
Following the date, Spencer tweeted, "Had the most romantic dinner with @heidimontag last night!"
Aside from going on dinner dates, their Twitter pages show that Heidi's been busy with her music career and being domestic, Spencer's studying Political Science at USC, and Heidi recently chilled with former Hills cast members at Kristin Cavallari's baby shower.
As for the rest? Well, the rest is still unwritten.

Has Heidi Montag had even more surgery on her face?

Following their confession that they attempted to use the media by staging a divorce, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt have been away from the limelight for more than three months.
However, the blonde was pictured getting petrol (known as gas to folk like Heidi) in LA yesterday, looking extremely different from the last time we saw her in the summer.
This is potentially the only time we’ve seen Heidi without a scrap of make-up on, which could explain why her face looks unrecognisable, but it’s her nose that we’re mostly staring at.
When Heidi had her nose done as part of her cosmetic surgery marathon nearly two years ago, it was straightened out and flattened, but the nose she’s sporting in this picture looks as if it has more of a peak.
We’re hardly experts and it may just be the angle, but the former receptionist is partial to a spot of surgery, having spent $30,000 on 10 procedures back in 2010, which included a brow lift, liposuction, a bottom lift, ears pinning, a chin reduction and a boob job.
And while Heidi is still attempting to pursue fame, her husband Spencer is studying for a political science degree, most likely because he reckons he can be a decent president.
Back in September, the pair admitted that they never actually wanted to get divorced, but tried to play the press to make some much-needed cash. Spencer said at the time: “At that point, we were pulling our last cards. We felt the hot-air balloon losing its gas. And at that stage, our income would be selling the photo that would go along with the divorce.”
When you look back to how happy and healthy Heidi was in 2008, it’s hard to believe how much she’s gone through in the last three years. It’s all a bit sad, really.

Lauren Conrad Planning to "Ignore" Spencer's Apology

Spencer Pratt tried to make amends with Lauren Conrad on her 26th birthday via Twitter Wednesday, but the Paper Crown designer isn't listening.
"Lauren has moved on way past the drama of the show," a source close to Conrad tells Us Weekly. "She's focusing on her career and barely has time to interact with the people she actually likes, so she's not really going to get back in touch with Spencer or anything like that."
The source adds that "in this case, like others, she's going to continue to do what works best with Spencer and ignore him."
Pratt, meanwhile, says he doesn't "have a hatchet to bury" with his former costar, who he frequently butted heads with on The Hills. (Pratt is the primary reason Conrad and former roommate HeidiMontag, 25, no longer speak.)
"I know we had our differences, but the fact is that Lauren was a big part of our lives, both personally and professionally, and after all this time, what point would there be in being angry?" Pratt, 28, tells Us. "I wish her nothing but the best in everything she does."
Conrad, who flew to New York City on business Thursday, doesn't think Twitter is the appropriate place for Pratt to ask forgiveness.
"Lauren loves using Twitter to interact with her fans and promote her brands," the source explains, "but obviously she doesn't think it's an effective way to apologize or try to mend bridges."

Spencer Pratt Ends Lauren Conrad Feud?

What's next, peace in the Middle East?
Spencer Pratt finally let bygones be bygones on Wednesday -- supposedly burying the hatchet with former archenemy Lauren Conrad.
The former Hills villain, 28, came out of hiding via Twitter to make a show of celebrating Conrad's 26th birthday.
"@LaurenConrad Happy Birthday!" Pratt wrote. "Thanks for helping me find my miracle wife @heidimontag !"
Lest fans of The Hills forget, Pratt's wife is Conrad's old roomie and ex-BFF Heidi Montag; Conrad and Montag's friendship imploded on The Hills, largely over issues regarding Pratt.
Pratt continued of author/designer Conrad, who's currently single following her relationship with Kyle Howard and a fling with Derek Hough: "My birthday wish for @LaurenConrad is for her to find true love like #Speidi."
Perhaps anticipating the cynics, Pratt added: "I wasn't being sarcastic! I really do wish the best for Lauren Conrad on her birthday! #forgiveandforget."
Conrad hasn't yet responded (via Twitter, anyway) to Pratt's well-wishes.

My $02? It's just a ploy on Spncer's part to get his name back in the press. Some things never change..

Are Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt Headed For Relationship Rehab?

For a second it seemed to be 2009 all over again, as once famous famewhores Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt (Speidi, anyone?) pretended to not know they were being photographed as they did something -- in this case, act all lovey dovey while skiing down a mountain -- on Thursday.
In other Speidi news it's being reported that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt turned down a reality show. What is the world coming to?! Relationship Rehab (VH1's new Celebrity Rehab spinoff) producers recently approached Speidi to work out their issues on the show, and the gruesome twosome flat-out rejected their offer for a simple reason:
They're doing well and weren't willing to pretend otherwise.
We know, it really doesn't compute.
The couple is said to have been initially intrigued by the show, thinking Relationship Rehab was actually about working out together, a la Biggest Loser.
They had no idea it was for couples with real issues, and while they certainly have had some - they're broke now, for one - things are good nowadays.
So they passed, which is great. For them, but mostly for us.

Heidi Montag's 25th Birthday Celebration at Vanity Nightclub

How apt that plastic surgery queen Heidi Montag should hold her birthday party in a club called Vanity.
Looking the worse the wear, Heidi looks tipsy and much older in the skintight gold dress she donned.
The young blonde also seemed to have dark circles under eyes, and in a brief respite from carousing with Pratt to hold her cake, looked sad and contemplative.
Sweating Pratt didn't look any better.
The couple were hosting at the club in the Hard Rock Hotel ostensibly for Heidi, and tickets for the event ranged from $20 to $40.

Will Audrina Patridge & Lauren Conrad Reunite For ‘The Hills’ Feature Film?

After six drama-filled seasons on MTV, The Hills came to an end in July 2010. But according to show alum Audrina Patridge, the cast may reunite for a movie based on the semi-scripted series.
"[Hills creator] Adam DiVello did talk about wanting to do a Hills movie, but we were kind of all just so fed up with each other that we all needed a little break," Patridge, 26, said on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show. "We've all had our break, so maybe we'll all come back together and do a movie," Patridge added. "You never know."
The only hitch? Heroine Lauren Conrad, 25 -- who left during the show's fifth season -- told Us Weekly in July that "at this moment," she had no plans to return to reality TV.
Conrad's one-time BFF Heidi Montag, 24, who currently stars on VH1's Famous Food, may not be interested in reuniting with her former castmates, either.
"We were all getting paid to be people we weren't for so long that you stop -- there's no line," Montag's husband, Spencer Pratt, recently told The Daily Beast. "The gauge is gone. The gray area is gone. We got so deep with how many storylines we had to do to continue the machine."
"I thought when this was all over, I could get on an interview and say, 'It was all entertainment,'" Pratt, 27, said. "I thought I was the Wizard of Oz, like, I'm the guy behind the curtain."

That would be amazing but I can't imagine Lauren ever agreeing to do a film with Heidi! I think she would look at it taking a step backwards career wise. What do you think?

Spencer Was Banned From The Set During Filming Of Famous Food With Heidi Montag!

According to a report from TMZ, Spencer Pratt was banned from the set of Heidi Montag's new show, 'Famous Food'.
It was the producers who laid down the law regarding Famous Food, and the fact that Spencer Pratt wouldn't be allowed "on the set, near the set, or to be involved in any way whatsoever" with Heidi's new endeavor with VH1. Heidi went along with their rules to keep the peace and she hopes that the show will be a huge success.
It's pretty plain to see why the producers didn't want Spencer around but the question that remains, however, is now that production has wrapped will Spencer be man enough to continue to let Heidi have the spolight?

My guess? Not a chance!

Heidi Montag Returns to Reality TV, Wants to Be 'More Private'

Heidi Montag is no stranger to the spotlight. From opening up about plastic surgery to sharing her friend and relationship woes on The Hills, the reality starlet has been anything but shy when it comes to airing her drama.
Now, almost a year after the series finale of the show that made her a household name, Montag, 24, wants to take a different route to reality TV.
"From now on, I'm going to keep my life a little more private," Montag told PEOPLE at the grand opening of Lemon Basket restaurant in West Hollywood, where she promoted her latest project, VH1's Famous Food. "I think I was just doing The Hills for so long and I just needed a break [from Hollywood]. Plus, I enjoy my privacy."
On Famous Food, Montag will appear alongside other familiar faces – including The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka and Real Housewives of New Jersey's Danielle Staub – as they re-launch the new restaurant.
"These people are a little bit older than me, so it's different," Montag says. "It's been pretty crazy. It's definitely different than [The Hills]."
And there is more to gain: "At the end of the process, one of us will end up with a stake [in Lemon Basket]," Pavelka told PEOPLE. "This isn't TV to me. This is a show about us trying to open a restaurant. It's just coincidental there are cameras there."
But it's still a TV show, and the attention suits the new, privacy-loving Montag just fine: "Everything's good," she said, refusing to comment on Spencer Pratt, her mom or any potential drama on the show. "I'm just kind of getting my feet back into Hollywood."

Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt: Grocery Shoppers

Spotted: Speidi dressed down in sweats and hats as they took a trip to the local grocery store to load up their Porsche with some grub. They're just like any other couple -- except for the overblown plastic surgery procedures and constant media attention!
Heidi is gearing up to star in VH1's new series Famous Foods. The show follows reality celebs Danielle Staub of Jersey Housewives, The Bachelor's Jake Pavelka, Vincent Pastore from The Sopranos, singer/mistress Ashley Dupre and Three 6 Mafia members DJ Paul and Juicy "J".
The crew will spend eight weeks working at a new Famous Food restaurant to turn it around and make it a hit. We can't wait to see Heidi work in a restaurant!
And what Spencer has been up to lately?
Pratt has been openly campaigning for an internship with Ryan Seacrest, because he doesn't have a job! The reality star recently told Seacrest. "I'm twiddling my thumbs all day like, 'I need to get a job.'"

Heidi Montag: Ferrari Day

Heidi Montag was spotted giving husband Spencer Pratt a ride in her (we’re assuming rented) Ferrari California sports car in Venice, CA on Sunday (April 3) before they kissed each other goodbye as she went into a hair salon.
Wearing sunglasses, a white cardigan, ripped jeans, a blue t-shirt and sneakers, Heidi went for the casual look as she arrived at the salon carrying a grey handbag.
Spencer was then allowed behind the wheel but had to take strict directions off his wife who pointed instructions at him.
After 45 minutes, he drove back to meet his wife and swapped seats with her so she could speed off waving at photographers.
During her day out, Heidi tweeted: “Just pulling up for filming at Geisha House in a hot red convertible Ferrari California!”

Heidi Montag Wants to Join 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'

Just when you thought reality TV was safe again, one-half of Speidi is back in action plotting out a plan for primetime domination.
According to RadarOnline.com, 24-year-old Heidi Montag is actively pursuing joining the cast of 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.' Yikes, I wonder how the plastic surgery addict would mesh with Camille, Lisa and Kyle?
Sources claim the blonde bombshell and her husband Spencer Pratt (of course) met with 'Real Housewives' execs on Tuesday. "We would move to Beverly Hills in a heartbeat," Spencer told Radar. "We would be psyched if this happened for us."
Another rumour to take with a grain of salt. I can't imagine the producers would even entertain the idea. You?

Heidi Montag on Spencer: "He's a hopeless romantic, and he's 'Mr. Perfect,' in every way."

After a rocky 2010 Heidi Montag Pratt tells TooFab that she and husband Spencer Pratt, are looking forward to a drama-free 2011, and are as head-over-heels in love as ever.
We're good, and we're just looking forward to the new year, and our new marriage," Heidi tells TooFab. (Montag filed for divorce in July, but the couple reconciled in September, and renewed their wedding vows in a beachfront ceremony in November in Carpenteria, Calif.)
And the lovebirds, who are currently living in one of Spencer's parents' homes, are literally roaring into the new year: They were just photographed in Malibu buzzing around on a motorized skateboard. "That's Spencer's gift that I gave him for Christmas," she tells TooFab.
While the duo have projects lined up in the new year, she says, "We've just been kind of having a vacation. We just need the time to relax. Everything is fantastic. Spencer and I are great."
And even though Valentine's Day is weeks away, Heidi is giddy about what to expect. "I'm looking forward to Valentine's Day! Hopefully Spencer will surprise me! With Spencer, it's always romantic. He's a hopeless romantic, and he's 'Mr. Perfect,' in every way."
