Lauren Conrad's Friends Defend Her Cancelled Reality show‎

Lauren Conrad isn't the only MTV starlet that has a bone to pick with the network.
Her former Hills pal, Stephanie Pratt, told UsMagazine.com Thursday she was just as disappointed when she heard they were scrapping plans for Conrad's documentary-style reality show that was set to focus on her upcoming fashion line.
"I was pretty shocked," Pratt, 24, said at the PETA's New York Fashion Week party. "I think it's such an inspirational show that people really get to see that dreams come true. I was really shocked. I thought it would have been great for kids to watch."
Conrad's bestie, Lo Bosworth, added that she has faith Conrad will land on her Louboutin-heeled feet.
"She's doing great," The Lo-Down author, 24, told Us. "I'm sure everything will work out in the end."
Of course, Conrad didn't take her disappointment lying down. After her show -- which was said to lack the drama and catfights of The Hills was dropped -- The designer, 25, fired back a statement to Us saying, in part, "We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn't feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it."

Andy Cohen speaks out about Heidi Montag drama

Leave it to Andy Cohen, the man behind Bravo's Real Housewives franchise to stir up drama with one of the reality TV world's most notorious players: Heidi Montag.
After she claimed to be joining the next Beverly Hills Housewives cast, Cohen shot back with a colorful denial, saying, "That trash is delusional and I would sooner stab knives into my own eyes than see her on this network."
Whoa.
USA TODAY's Arienne Thompson happened to be sitting behind Cohen at designer Prabal Gurung's Fashion Week show this afternoon and asked him about the drama.
"I think I already said enough. I got a little carried away," he said, sounding a bit exasperated about the whole thing. "There was just a flood of untrue Housewives rumors last week and I just hit my tipping point."
For her part, Montag says Cohen's just being a big bully. "Andy's tasteless remarks were hurtful and completely unnecessary," she told People. "I have always been a fan of the Housewives franchise and I don't appreciate being bullied."

Avril Lavigne & Brody Jenner: Out & About in Paris

Avril Lavigne's has been off the musical map for a while, but her new single "What the Hell" announced that she is back with a vengeance. The Canadian singer has a new album called Goodbye Lullaby and a killer new video that shows off her punchy, spunky attitude. Though she has slowly moved away from the pop-punk-fueled sound of her early work, she still has the same kind of manic energy, which tends to manifest itself in her sense of fashion and style. She has been spotted with Brody Jenner on the streets of Paris, shopping and happily taking pictures with fans.
