Brent Bolthouse Splits From SBE

Brent Bolthouse, a pivotal figure behind many glitzy restaurants and nightlife hubs, has split from Sam Nazarian’s SBE Entertainment Group.
Better known as "Heidi's boss" on The Hills, Bolthouse has contributed creative guidance to spots like Foxtail, Hyde, and Michael Mina's XIV. Also considered a promoter, Bolthouse brings publicity to his venues through his various celebrity ties (so no shocker that he was on The Hills).
On the other hand, SBE too is a crucial player in the Los Angeles nightlife scene. Think the SLS Hotel and The Bazaar, the Philippe Starck-designed Katsuyas, The Abbey, Area, the newly opened Mi-6, and the upcoming revamp of Gladstone's and Hyde in LA Live. Not too shabby. Details are still developing on what caused the separatio but his publicist Joanna Cichoki said via email "We can confirm that Bolthouse Productions has left day to day operations at SBE." "Brent Bolthouse and Jenifer Rosero are continuing to operate Bolthouse Productions as an independent entity."

Last night Brent Bolthouse hosted a photo gallery sponsored by Svedka at Milk Studios. The photographs were a collection of images he shot on a trip to Greenland with his good friends from Thirty Seconds to Mars.
His long time BFF, Jared Leto went to Greenland on an environmental mission to shoot a video for his bands single, A Beautiful Lie, and invited Brent along to take photos.
Jared came back with an incredible video that focuses on the effect global warming is having on the world's coldest climates and Brent came back with the photographs featured in last nights show.
Since Brent's trip two years ago, the glaciers and icebergs have already changed dramatically. Besides pure enjoyment of these amazing glaziers caught on film, Brent wanted to raise awareness on the fact that this ice is disappearing at an alarming rate.

Brent Bolthouse: More than meets the eye

We know Brent Bolthouse as Heidi's (pretend) boss and club promoter extrodinaire but did you also know Brent is a photographer and conservationist?
Brent will debut his First Solo Photography Exhibit titled Greenland: A Beautiful Lie at Milk Studios in Hollywood on August 12th. His exhibit features a collection of photographs taken during a trip to Greenland with Thirty Seconds to Mars for the band's environmentally themed short film "A Beautiful Lie," www.abeautifullie.org/video_abl.aspx. The journey, which took them 200 miles north of the Arctic Circle, the band's short film, and the photographs are intended to continue to bring attention to the global meltdown and to celebrate the beauty of this endangered and magical landscape.
For Bolthouse, who is one of the most powerful nightlife and event producers in the country, the exhibit has special meaning. Not only is it his first solo art exhibit, but an opportunity to showcase his artwork on a grand scale. Photos featured and available for purchase will include scenic landscapes in Greenland as well as candid shots taken with Thirty Seconds to Mars.
"I'm honored to be a part of this event; they are making my photos come to life. When Jared Leto asked me to be a part of this adventure I had no idea that it would change the way I look at our environment. I'm hoping that my photography will move people as I was moved by this amazing trip to Greenland."
