Kristin and Jay were there to attend a friend's wedding, with Kristin acting as bridesmaid.
But there was plenty of time to relax, and the couple were pictured lounging by the pool in the sunshine during their break.

Lauren Conrad: Interview with EY

Lauren recently did a terrific interview with EY. Check it out below.
EY: Thanks for taking the time. Let’s start off by talking a little about your life before it all took off. What was it like growing up and did you always love the creative arts?
LC: I had a wonderful childhood in Laguna Beach. My family is very close and I am the oldest of 3 kids. We had so much fun as a family growing up.
EY: To be honest, I wasn’t expecting you to become an author because of your constant demonstration of your love for fashion. So, your novels were definitely a pleasant surprise. What inspired you to start writing?
LC: I have always loved reading. Ever since I was a young girl I had a book by my bed and would get lost in the world of make believe. When I was asked to write a book, what interested me most was trying something that was outside what I normally did. It was a challenge that I was up for.
EY: Were you expecting the positive feedback that you received for your previous novels?
LC: The main reason to write was to try something new and to really explore my creative side. I never did it for any other reason. Having the books become a success was really like icing on the cake and it was so wonderful as a first time author.
EY: The word is out so now we’re all anticipating the release of your next trilogy. Can you share with us a little in regards to the plot?
LC: The Fame Game is the new series and the first book comes out in April. I really enjoyed this book because it takes place from the bad girl’s point of view. It is a spinoff to my LA Candy series but these books are written from the perspective of Madison and not Jane.
EY: Okay cool, sounds really interesting and I, as well as everybody else, can’t wait to get our hands on that. But now on to your fashion side. What’s the story behind the name Paper Crown?
LC: We got the name paper crown from those cute crowns we made as young girls when we played dress up. We felt that was a cute name for such a romantic and whimsical line.
EY: And what’s next for all your clothing lines?
LC: Paper Crown continues to grow and I just love working on the line. In addition, I am still designing for LC Lauren Conrad which is exclusive to Kohls. The line has done so well and we expanded to shoes and accessories, which has been so much fun to design.
EY: You’ve recently teamed up with Blue Avocado, an environmentally conscious lifestyle company, to produce eco-friendly goods. Tell us about this new venture and what you’re hoping to accomplish.
LC: I am working on a collection of beauty, lunch, and travel products + accessories with Blue Avocado that ‘embraces’ style and sustainability. The entire collection is made from reclaimed plastic bottles, so we are keeping them out of landfills and oceans, and will include an impact label so people can see the carbon footprint of the product, how many plastic bottles were up cycled, and the waste avoided with each use. It is the ultimate in reuse and recycle (and they are adorable!)
EY: Does it ever become somewhat overwhelming when you think of all you have to juggle, between fashion, writing, etc. and how do you maintain that drive, what keeps you focused amidst it all?
LC: Yes! but like every job there are ups and downs, and you just get through it. Mine is no different than anyone else. I just need to be organized in juggling all the moving parts.

EY: And in a couple of years when looking back on all you’ve done, how would you like to be remembered?
LC: I hope that fans say that I was someone that they looked up to and someone who had great work ethics, and was a good role model to young girls.

Kristin Cavallari & Jay Cutler Vacation in Cabo

Kristin Cavallari and her fiancé Jay Cutler escaped to Cabo San Lucas over the weekend. The couple were spotted relaxing by the pool at their resort with friends on Saturday after arriving in Mexico on Friday. They traveled south of the border to attend pal Kendhal Beal's wedding. Kristin, who was a bridesmaid, covered her baby bump in a red dress for the wedding rehearsal on Friday and kept her growing belly covered up during her afternoon in the sun. She wore a black cutout swimsuit to hang alongside shirtless Jay, and when they weren't chatting with pals, Kristin read a book in her lounge chair.

Olivia Palermo: Interview & Photos From 'This is London'

"It can be thrilling to meet a phenomenon. To put a personality to a face that has become part of life’s wallpaper. To observe and dissect and appreciate what has sent the entire world into a spin. And Olivia Palermo is today’s big fashion news. Every day. A rather tired moniker is ‘The Real-Life Gossip Girl’ and one who shrugged off Manhattan social scandal to go global – she is a one-woman campaign for her own photogenic brand of fashion fantasy. Glossy, canny, commercial, but classy to the point of seeming middle-aged, she found her spotlight on MTV’s structured reality show The City in which she was loved and hated, admired and reviled, like all phenomenons. Alexa Chung had to spend a couple of years proving she was smart and grafty before she hit the front rows, but Olivia has been welcomed – nay, lured – by every big fashion name. She is flown from party to show to premiere to benefit with ne’er a crease or a frown to mar her perfection. What does she actually do? Well, she gets dressed in the morning and that is enough when you are this thin and this famous.
But when the time comes to meet her, things are not so thrilling. So let’s start with what she’s wearing. She is framed in a window at The Berkeley hotel in a shimmering, monochrome Armani evening dress: exquisite, tawny; her frame even slighter and her jawline even sharper than they appear in the tsunami of photographs wired round the web on a daily basis. A vulnerable little bird with a determined little mouth. As she twinkles, she gazes into the eyes of her fellow model, her boyfriend Johannes Huebl, who is doing an admirable job of working his wonderful suit. ‘Mr Armani is a very sweet gentleman and such a generous, friendly personality,’ he says later. ‘There is a handful of people like that in fashion. Maybe less.’ White of tooth, preppy of hair, blue of eye, Johannes, too, is more slender than he appears in his many campaigns (they starred together in the autumn 2010 Mango campaign).
Soon it is time for Olivia to change into her civvies: a beige lace Moschino blazer, a silk Tibi T-shirt, pale grey skinny jeans and Mulberry heels. She looks very nice. But she doesn’t want to start talking until her agent arrives to tell me that she will only talk about her latest projects, namely her new blog. She does not want to talk about the past. Or the future. She also does not want to tell me that she doesn’t want to talk about the past or the future. She wants someone else to tell me that.
Time is ticking on but she will not start. ‘Don’t worry,’ she sing-songs. ‘We’ll get it done. I’ll answer your questions.’ At very nearly 26, she is without a doubt the most patronising person I have ever attempted to interview. We sit in separate rooms, pink with fury. Eventually she manages to say, steely as you like, ‘I want to concentrate on my current projects because that’s what my readers are interested in.’ But this seems more about what Olivia Palermo is interested in: namely, building a brand; a process that begins with whitewashing, personality bypassing and exceedingly, almost oppressively, good manners.
Olivia is in London for Fashion Week. ‘I have been coming to London Fashion Week for many years,’ she says, going all authoritative and seasoned. ‘I think that the British Fashion Council has done a really nice job and there is so much young talent. When Erdem first showed his collection, you can see how well he’s done and the inspiring women who wear his clothes...’ she tails off, having lost her way in the quagmire of her own press release. In grand, fashion-maven style she doesn’t talk about British designers she likes so much as those she ‘supports’, who include Matthew Williamson, Christopher Kane, Jonathan Saunders, Anya Hindmarch and Mulberry. ‘I am also supportive of the high street. Who doesn’t like Topshop?’

Whitney Port Attends The Didier Drogba Charity Ball in London, England

In other Whitney Port news, the former Hills star turned designer is launching a new line, WE by Whitney Eve, exclusively for Apricot Lane boutiques around the U.S. The budget-friendly collection — which boasts five styles for spring and a fuller line for fall — includes a black catsuit ($130), cream skirt ($104), cream blazer (left, $130), navy dress (right, $119) and cream blouse ($93).
Whitney launched her first line, Whitney Eve, in 2008 and Miss Port was lucky enough to show her fall 2012 collection at New York Fashion Week last month.
To celebrate her WE line, Whitney is throwing a “garden tea party” at Apricot Lane’s Ardmore, Penn., store on April 19, giving shoppers a chance to peruse the collection and meet the designer. Visit the store’s website for more information.
