Kelly Cutrone's New Pilot For MTV: 'Normal Gets You Nowhere'

A new Kelly Cutrone MTV project has been in the works since last year, and today the tell-it-like-it-is fashion publicist, reality star, and author revealed the name of the pilot to TresSugar first! It will be called Normal Gets You Nowhere. If it gets picked up, the show will share its name with Kelly’s latest book, which reminds young women that successful people often don’t fit in and calls on them to embrace their inner freak.
Kelly told us she’s traveling somewhere in middle America to shoot the MTV pilot this Friday, and plans to channel Dear Abby. She says, “We’ll meet kids in the middle of America whose parents think their imagination is a dangerous thing, and they should be lucky that they work in a factory, and that art is a hobby, and stuff like that. So we go there and talk to the parents and be like, ‘You have no idea. Your kid’s super talented, and they’re coming to New York.’ And then we help them get on the right track for what they want to do.”

Lauren Conrad will not be involved in a Hills movie

Lauren Conrad may be a Hollywood Hills girl, but that doesn't mean she wants to be in the movies -- even if it's the Hills movie! "The Hills was great for me, but I decided to leave it, so that's something that's behind me," Lauren revealed to Life & Style exclusively at the Alice + Olivia shoe launch sponsored by Activate water at Palihouse Holloway in West Hollywood on Aug. 10. "It's not for me."
Although the film has yet to be confirmed, rumors of the onetime reality show hitting theaters have been running wild. Former stars of the hit MTV series have hinted at it -- Audrina Patridge has said it may happen, and Whitney Port says she'd be up to reprise her role -- and the show's producer Adam DiVello has wanted to see it through for quite some time.

And while the show, which ended in July 2010 after six seasons, was a great step for Lauren, she has yet to hear if it will in fact be turned into a film. "I heard about that years ago, and then I read about that somewhere again recently. I was like, 'What Hills movie?'" she said to Life & Style. "No one has asked me to be in a Hills movie and I don't really know much about it."
The fashion designer and author, 25, says she'd also be surprised if a script even existed. "It's supposed to be reality TV, so I don't think there would be a script," she told Life & Style. "It's supposed to come together as it goes along, I would think. I'd be surprised if there were a script."

Kristin Cavallari To Join Dancing With The Stars!

Spotted: Kristin Cavallari looking rather chic after having lunch with friends at Villa Blanca in Beverly Hills on Monday (August 15).
The sighting comes amid news that 24-year-old Cavallari has been offered a contract to be a contestant on Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars.
Kristin teased her Twitter followers about the news with this message to her fans earlier this week:
“Haven’t bn tweeting much lately…I’ve bn going nonstop. Exciting things coming up that I cnt wait 2 share w/ everyone. Hope u guys R well!”
The entire new celebrity cast of Dancing with the Stars will be revealed live, during Bachelor Pad, on August 29 on ABC.
Other celeb names who have been rumoured to also be joining the cast include Rob Kardashian, singer Christina Milian and Mike Tyson.

Whitney Port Says 'Why Not?' to a Hills Movie

If and when a Hills movie becomes a reality, there's one star who wouldn't mind joining Audrina Patridge on the silver screen: Whitney Port.
"Yeah, I think so," said Port when asked whether or not she'd be willing to reprise her role in a film version of the hit MTV series. "Why not? Sure!"
The budding fashion designer predicts the Hills movie would reunite the cast to highlight the changes in their lives since the series wrapped last year after six seasons.
"I think it would be cool," Port, 26, told PEOPLE while volunteering at the To Write Love On Her Arms booth at Vans Warped Tour in Los Angeles. "It would be cool!"
But if a Hills movie really is in the works, the cast hasn't been approached yet.
"I don't know that there's anything actually happening," she says, admitting she was surprised by Patridge's comments about the proposed project in an interview with Ryan Seacrest last week. "I didn't know what she was talking about."
As far as Port knows, the Hills movie remains the fantasy of the series' producer, Adam DiVello.
"I know that [DiVello] once mentioned that that would be a goal of his" to make a movie version, says Port. "I haven’t heard anything, but I know that it’s something our producer wanted to do."

Colton Haynes Opens Up About His Rumored Romance with Lauren Conrad.

Bashful much?
Since Lauren Conrad's split in June from Kyle Howard, she's been spotted flirting up a storm with Teen Wolf's Colton Haynes. Haynes, 23, was grilled by Ryan Seacrest Monday about his relationship with Conrad, 25, he played coy about his rumored romance!
"I've known Lauren for about four-and-a-half years now," Haynes told Seacrest, 36. "We're really good friends."
"She's cute," Seacrest said, prompting Haynes to second his assessment. "I would say yes," the actor agreed. "She definitely is."
"She's definitely smart," Haynes added. "She might have more jobs than you!"
The duo was spotted last week at West Hollywood's Trousdale, where she was also flirty with her ex-beau. Conrad and Haynes were first seen exchanging phone numbers at a bash -- and then hitting a club together -- in late July.
The MTV star admitted he and the Paper Crown designer "hang out a lot" and gushed, "She's great!"
So what do his Teen Wolf costars think of the former star of The Hills? "I approve," Crystal Reed said.
"I'm kinda jealous," Tyler Posey joked. "I thought Colton and I were an item... [But] they're both hot and awesome. I've never met Lauren, but Colton is the dude, and anyone that Colton associates himself with is pretty cool, too."

It sounds to me like he answered the question honestly by saying they were just friends! I think (once again) they're trying to make a story when there is none.

Lauren Conrad was spotted in Cabo over the weekend (August 13).
LC was snapped hanging out with her “Hills” costar Frankie Delgado by the ever present paparrazi.
Lauren looked beautiful, keeping it simple in a black sundress over a bikini but she didn't look too happy with all the attention.

Frankie tweeted on August 11th: "Just landed in beautiful CABO!
and Lauren tweeted earlier today: "I mean... If you are going to run away to Cabo with someone @frankiedelgado is pretty tough to beat."
