Lauren Conrad presents Paper Crown at the PROJECT Trade Show in Las Vegas
Just like the last PROJECT Las Vegas trade show held this past February, this year's internationally-renowned convention sees the return of celebrity-created apparel and accessories lines from the likes of Lauren Conrad, Nicole Richie and Sienna Miller.
Paper Crown, the line of preppy chic womenswear from former The Hills star Lauren Conrad, showcased their fall 2011 and pre-spring 2012 collections here at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center this week. Ms. Conrad was even in attendance at this year's show all day on Monday, meeting with buyers and fans alike.

Olivia Palermo Finally Designs, Starts with Shoes
We keep hearing about Olivia Palermo becoming a designer but we haven't gotten to see anything she's done quite yet. In the meantime, the stylish one took her fashion sense philanthropic with a collaboration with red carpet favorite Stuart Weitzman. As part of the Young Hollywood Cares Collection,
Olivia was only one of four girls, including Scarlett Johansson, Hayden Panettiere and Michelle Trachtenberg, who co-designed shoes with proceeds going towards Harvard professor Marsha Moses' ovarian cancer research.
Olivia was the first of the group to debut the celebrity-designed footwear when she attended The Smurfs world premiere in New York City in late July. Her creation, appropriately dubbed “The Olivia” is an ankle strap sandal with a 4-inch heel trimmed in fuchsia feathers which retails for $425. Olivia paired her new sandals with a neutral off-the-shoulder blouse and an ivory flared maxi by Elizabeth and James.
Kristin Cavallari: Lunch At Spanish Kitchen
Kirstin Cavallari is still keeping her spirits high.
Showing off her summer physique in skin-tight jeans, platform sandals and a billowy top, KCav put her mega watt smile on display for the paparazzi as she had lunch at the Spanish Kitchen in Hollywood on Monday (August 22).
Meanwhile, it sounds like ABC is shaking things up for the new season of Dancing With the Stars.
Last week it was confirmed that Kirstin will appear in the upcoming season of the hit ABC reality show.
Reports are now surfacing that we’ll see a new set – with amphitheater-style seating to make room for another level of seats, staircases that move, a more prominent spot for the orchestra and an elevated dance floor.
Three more names have popped up as possible celeb competitors: soccer star Hope Solo and Chaz Bono, who has recently started following Karina Smirnoff and Mark Ballas on Twitter. Coincidence?
George Clooney‘s ex Elisabetta Canalis has also reportedly signed to show off her dancing skills.
Brody Jenner's Birthday Celebration At Bank Nightclub in Las, Vegas
Brody Jenner celebrated his 28th birthday at The Bank Nightclub at Bellagio with his rocker girlfriend Lavigne and a group of friends from Los Angeles including former “The Hills” alum Frankie Delgado.
The couple arrived in Las Vegas coming straight from Jenner’s step-sister Kim Kardashian’s highly anticipated wedding with New Jersey Nets forward Kris Humphries. After tweeting to his followers, “The ship has arrived! VEGAS TIME BABY…Gonna be a great one,” the couple joined their friends for a special group dinner at Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge at Bellagio, where the two were spotted cuddling with each other at the table while enjoying Yellowtail’s greatest hits, the Big Eye tuna pizza, rock shrimp and lobster carpaccio by Executive Chef Akira Back.
The group ended their feast by singing “Happy Birthday” to Jenner in Yellowtail’s private dining area. The group then made their way to The Bank Nightclub where they hung out in their VIP section dancing to the sounds by DJ Karma.
While at his table, Jenner was presented with a West Coast beach-themed birthday cake decorated with surfboards, palm trees and the names of Jenner’s favorite surfing spots in California, while Lavigne and his friends toasted the birthday boy. Later in the evening, Jenner and Lavigne chatted with American rapper Gucci Mane, who stopped by their table before getting behind The Bank’s deejay booth to give an impromptu performance of his smash hit “Wasted” to the packed crowd. After enjoying the lively performance, Jenner and Lavigne finished the evening taking one last round of birthday shots with their group before leaving The Bank around 4 a.m.

Whitney Port Visits Texas
When Whitney Port introduced the fall collection of her label, Whitney Eve, at Tootsies in Houston Texas on Thursday August 18, we had a moment to chat about her reality future.
Whit said says while she's not opposed to being on television in the future as a personality or fashion/style expert, Port says "I'm kind of over reality TV [...] I'd never do anything as intimate or invasive as before."
In fact, Port says that she agreed to do The City only to gain publicity for her burgeoning fashion career, which had been long in the making before she was ever cast on The Hills.
When she isn't wearing her own line, Port credits favorite design influencers as Alexander Wang, Phillip Lim, Isabel Marant and Diane von Furstenberg, for whom she used to work.
Next up for Port? The spring 2012 collection of Whitney Eve will be shown at Coterie in about a month. And the ink isn't dry, so she wouldn't reveal her partner, but fans of Whitney Eve can expect a jewelry line in time for the holidays.

I just got back from such an amazing and quick trip to Houston, Texas! It sure was hot there, I think it got up to 105 degrees!!!
I went there for a membership drive for the Women of Wardrobe (WOW) event. WOW is the under 40 division of Dressed for Success, which assists disadvantaged women with professional attire and career counseling. The event was hosted at Tootsies, the sales people are so welcoming and the store itself is so beautiful! (I even had a chance to do a little shopping splurge of my own!) I was joined by Shirin Askari, David Peck, and Claudia Labao, fellow designers who were also showing their lines.
These types of events are my absolute favorite. There is nothing more satisfying, as a designer, than seeing women and girls grab my clothes and wear them out the door! I am so proud of this Fall collection and I can’t wait for you all to get your hands on it. Brody Jenner And Avril Lavigne Wear All Black To Kim Kardashian's Wedding

Brody Jenner and his girlfriend Avril Lavigne attended the wedding of Kim Kardashian on Saturday (20th August 2011) dressed in matching black outfits. Jenner, who is the step brother of Kim, wore a smart black suit while his rocker girlfriend opted for a black maxi dress, reports the UK's Daily Mail.
Brody, whose father Bruce gave Kardashian away at the lavish ceremony in Montecito, California, had tweeted of his preparations for the wedding. He told followers, "Getting a nice 10K run in before the long drive up to the wedding. Congrats, Kim. Love you". However, Jenner also alluded to his partying plans for the bash, tweeting, "Oh yeah.And it's my birthday at midnight. Raging tonight!" Kim's brother Rob Kardashian appeared to approve of the message, re-tweeting it before adding, ". we are gonna Rage!!!". Brody and Lavigne, who have been dating for over a year, may have wedding plans of their own. Jenner's mother Linda Thompson recently told E! Online of Avril, "She's an amazing young woman and I feel really fortunate that she's in our lives". When quizzed on whether she thinks they'll be together forever, Thompson replied, "I actually do yeah".
Lauren Conrad: Pretty in Vegas
Spotted: Lauren Conrad dining at Lavo at the Palazzo with her business partner Maura McManus and friends. The fashion designer, author and former reality star is in town for Project.
Project is the world’s preeminent contemporary fashion trade event and is held bi-annually in New York and Las Vegas.
Lauren tweeted: "If you are at Project in Vegas come see @PaperCrownLuvsU ! We are at 14065"
