Making for a belated celebration, Avril Lavigne partied it up for her 26th birthday at Wet Republic in Las Vegas on Saturday (October 2).The Canadian singer-songwriter looked to be in a cheerful mood as she was presented with a specially crafted cake while surrounded by bikini clad poolside partiers.
Absent from the Sin City fete was Avril's boyfriend Brody Jenner - which adds merit to reports that the seemingly inseparable couple have hit a rough patch.
A source told Star magazine, “They had a major falling out around then and haven't seen each other since. Brody says Avril wasn't really making time for him anymore, since she's been under pressure to get into the studio to work on her new CD.”
The insider adds, “Brody hopes they can patch things up once she's not so busy. He wanted to marry her.”
