Lauren Conrad: Out & About In Hollywood

Taking a break from promoting her new book, Lauren Conrad was spotted taking some time to cool her heels on the back of a friend’s pick up truck in Westwood, CA on Friday (October 8).
But it wasn’t too long before the the busy author was back in glam mode as she hit up Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles to promote Sugar and Spice and Lauren Conrad Style Guide.
Meanwhile, Lauren says her upcoming reality TV show will document the creative process of her upcoming high-end fashion line.
Lauren will debut her new “high-end range” on her MTV reality show, but the 24-year-old admits she is ready for the “stress” which will undoubtedly come alongside designing the new line.
She tells MTV: “We’re in the very beginning process. We just submitted all of our tech packs for samples, so it’s in the very early stages. It will get stressful after this, when you’re dealing with deadlines, and you’re dealing with production and the possibility of a fashion show. That’s kind of when all the stress comes in. So, right now we’re just picking colours and doing samples.”
LC also says she has enlisted the help of her friends to create the collection, which consists of a whole host of wardrobe “basics.”
She adds: “We haven’t started filming yet, so stay tuned!”

  1. I bought and read her Style book last night. I would not have bought it but I had a 40% off coupon for Borders so it only cost me $13.00. Anywho, I didn't learn one thing from it, which I thought was interesting as I'm always willing to learn a tip or two. Also, I thought it was weird in her entire make-up section she kept repeating over and over that she refuses to wear eye shadow because of her days of matching her eye shadow to her outfits (i.e. purple). There is a thing called neutrals. I thought it was strange being that an entire section was devoted to make-up application and I don't like the black cat eyeliner at all. It was more about her and less about tips and tricks. The clothing tips (buying basics) is very basic (i.e. have a pair of black pumps, etc.), nothing new.
