Lauren Conrad Returns to Blond
Celebrities are changing their styles and hair colors in 2011, and they’re taking their looks in bold new directions. After revealing taupe-y brown strands in January, style star Lauren Conrad showed off a lighter golden hue during her appearance on Chelsea Lately this week. “I did a poll on my website I just launched, of whether I should stay brown or go blond, and blond won.” Her inspiration: the beach! “We tried to do it like surfer hair, so it’s as if the sun did it, and not chemicals,” she explained.

I'm dying to see her new hair color up close. I was hoping we might get some photos of her leaving Chelsea's studio yesterday but I haven't come across any yet. Fingers crossed for new candids and soon! :)

Whitney Port looked darling arriving at the E! studios to tape a spot on "Chelsea Lately" in Los Angeles on Monday (January 24).
Showing off her legs in a short, red skirt, the former "Hills" star happily tweeted to her many fans, "All glammed up for Chelsea Lately"
Whit also blogged about her appearance: "I'm feeling a little nervous. I usually am pretty relaxed about this stuff but for some reason I am a bit intimidated by Chelsea haha. Wish me luck!"

Lauren Conrad Checks In with Chelsea Lately
Lauren Conrad left the Chelsea Lately studios in a floral dress and classic Chanel bag yesterday. She's been promoting her two new books with a tour across the country, and she talked to her favorite late night host about plans to expand her fictional series, her love for Jersey Shore, and tips for taking care of vintage clothes — watch the interview below! While the Teen Vogue cover girl did take a break from her busy press schedule to enjoy a Jack Johnson concert on Tuesday, she'll be back on the road with Sugar and Spice and Lauren Conrad Style over the weekend before she begins filming her reality show next week.
