Whitney Port’s Fashion Dream Come True

Whitney Port started out as an intern at Teen Vogue with a fashion dream — to design her own clothing line — and now, her dream accomplished during NYC’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week with a Whitney Eve show, she spoke to OK! about how her big debut went. “I think it was good,” she told OK! at an afterparty at Le Souk Harem.”I mean you never know. You have to wait until you see what the reviewers say. I was happy with it.”
One aspect that made her not so happy? All that preparation!
“Oh my God, it was so insane!” she revealed to OK!. “There’s so many details that you never really realize go in to a five or ten minute show. It was very, very hectic. All worth it though.”
Whitney says she finds her design inspiration in the people around her.
“I think fashion is art so I really like to give people what they feel most confident in,” she explains. “I grew up with lots of girls so I want to make everybody feel sexy and happy.”
Beyond her duties to her own line, Whitney has been busy working on the new season of The City, which returns to MTV on Sept. 29.
“It’s been really fun. We’ve been able to film throughout the summer so that’s really cool. We’ve had a lot of great work events and its cool to have them film my clothing line,” she tells OK!.
So how is this seasons going to be different than the last?
“I’m finally being able to do what I really want to do which is design a clothing line so I really feel like I’m fulfilling my dreams.”

Heidi Montag Pratt makes People Magazines's Worst Dressed List

It's one of our favorite times of year! People's Best and Worst Dressed list has come out. And we think you'll be surprised by some of the people on it. We love that Vanessa Hudgens made the cut. Oh, and Robert Pattinson is on there too. Though we do think he looks a bit better undressed!
Kate Winslet won for Best Dressed on the Red Carpet, which is said to be the biggest honor in the list of People's best dressed. According to People's Style Editor Clarissa Cruz, "She was all over the awards circuit, and she got it right every time. She wore Narcisco Rodriguez, she wore Yves Saint Laurent, and she just looked appropriate and glamorous."
Other female winners include Reese Witherspoon for Best Short Dreses, Taylor Swift for Best Sparkle, Nicole Richie for Best Maternity, Beyonce for Best Street Chic, Freida Pinto for Best Use of Color, Cameron Diaz for Best Jeans, and Kim Kardashian for Best Bikinis.
And who made Worst Dressed list (which is sometimes just as fun!) Heidi Montag! Although to be fair, I'm not sure she wore enough clothes this year to even be in the running ;) Jessica Simpson, Paula Abdul, Kate Gosselin and Renee Zellweger rounded out the list.

Arrest Made in Audrina Patridge and Lindsay Lohan Burglaries

The culprit caught on security videos in both Lindsay Lohan and Audrina Patridge's home burglaries has been arrested, Los Angeles police announced.
Nicholas Prugo, 18, was arrested Thursday morning in connection with the two break-ins. He was charged with felony burglary and is being held on $20,000 bail, police records show.
Lohan's Hollywood Hills home was burglarized last month by a young man and woman in which a safe was ripped out of the wall, and bags, shoes and jewelry were stolen.
In February, the apparent same pair broke into Patridge's Los Angeles home and was caught on tape making off with several bags of her possessions.
So far, police have only confirmed the arrest of Prugo. "As of now we just have this one person in custody, and the investigation is ongoing," says LAPD spokeswoman Karen Rayner.
