After six seasons starring on the hit MTV series, "The Hills," and a steamy TV commercial for Carl's. Jr. last summer, Audrina Patridge stepped into the dance arena with an impressive stint on ABC's hit show "Dancing with the Stars." Up next, she teams up with legendary producer Mark Burnett to produce a new reality series, which will introduce fans to her family, and show a different side of her life.
Audrina shared a few of her favorite travel hits and misses with me, just as she was sliding back into reality, after a well-deserved vacation in Australia over the holidays.
HITS:
What's the best hotel you've stayed in?Las Ventanas in Cabo San Lucas. This hotel makes you feel like you are a million miles away from Los Angeles, it's amazing. I love going horseback riding and having movie nights on the beach. The food and service is absolutely spectacular. The sun beds by the pool are so comfortable; I could stay there all day. It is truly the most relaxing, peaceful getaway.
Where would you love to go visit?Bali.
What do you always pack and bring with you?I love sunny, beach destinations, so I always pack my bathing suit, sun block, a cute dress, floppy beach hat, and my iPad.
What was your favorite vacation?My favorite vacation was in Bora Bora. It was like nothing I have ever seen before, from swimming with the sharks and stingrays in the beautiful crystal clear water, to hiking to waterfalls, kayaking, and relaxing on the beach, it was truly was a magical experience.

Worst travel experience?My worst travel experience was when I was on my way to London and the airline took my carry on bag full of ALL my shoes, to check last minute and when I got off the plane, they had no idea where my bag was...long story short, I accepted that I would be shoeless going to London. Thankfully a day later, the bag was miraculously found.
Biggest packing mistake?Over packing.
What is your biggest morsel of travel advice?Always bring the essentials; face wipes and Evian mist to keep skin moisturized on the plane.
What is the worst hotel you've stayed in?When I was 18, my friends and I went on a trip to Rosarito Mexico, when I got into bed, I looked under the blanket and saw a tick on the sheets--needless to say I didn't sleep at all that night and we left the next day!
You're currently in .... What are your local favorites?I'm in Los Angeles--my local favorites are Earth Bar in West Hollywood for that extra boost, Fred Segal, for one stop shopping and Cafe Stella in Silver Lake, which is a great little wine bar.
