Olivia Palermo Believes Anyone Can Dress Up on a Dime

Olivia Palermo is a whiz at mixing designer buys with lower-end pieces (much like Heidi Klum), and put her talents to work in New York City Thursday night during a styling event at Topshop. The fashionista, wearing head-to-toe Topshop, her own jewels and a turban, dressed several mannequins for the holidays, and talked about her talents with a group of chic admirers.
“During the holidays it gets so cold, and you don’t always want to go out and be freezing in a dress,” she told PEOPLE before the event. “So I really tried to focus on how to wear pants.” Her trick? “Obviously it’s masculine, but add a feminine touch with accessories, and really go to the next level with some hats.”
Since she’ll be in New York for the holidays, Palermo — who’s currently working as a Piperlime guest editor and recently launched her own blog — plans to wear her Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots “all winter long,” while continuing what she calls her “Topshop obsession.” “It’s about catching your eye,” she said of mixing high- and low-end looks. “I think the wonderful thing about High Street especially is that you can look fashionable on a budget — there’s something for everyone. You can incorporate basics into your own wardrobe without breaking the bank.”

Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler: Is Round Two Just Rinse and Repeat?

The Kristin Cavallari we used to know could hold her own against anything.
Ya know, the fame-hungry gal with the strong 'tude and boy-crazy ways who loved every minute being queen of The Hills.
But now? Seems K.Cav has taken a backseat to two-time fiancé Jay Cutler, as the duo announced their reengagement just last week.
So, what's the deal with the round-two relaysh and why are we concerned for the couple?
If past behaviors are any prediction, we're not entirely sure Mr. Cutler has changed his ways.
Remember what first caused the twosome to break up?
While they cited career differences and living situations as reason for the split, sources told us Jay was über-controlling of the notoriously social Kris.
And while Mr. Cutler may have warmed up to Kristin partying solo, we have to wonder if the good-looking athlete can entirely change his tough-guy 'tude—especially since we're hearing the same old story.
And if that's not enough to raise eyebrows over the round-two engagement, consider the fact Kristin is sporting the same ring as before.
Weird much? Yeah, we thought so, too.
So, Jay, while Kris may have calmed down in hopes of being wifed up, we suggest you don't forget the gal has a bite.
As for you, Kris? Tread carefully, or at the very least, ask for more carats thanyou got before, sweetheart!

Audrina Patridge Plays Santa's Helper at Bongo's Holiday Celebration

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, especially when celebrities set aside the edicts of style to dress up in festive fripperies and get the party started.
This kind of antic is thin on the ground in image-obsessed Hollywood, but thankfully Audrina Patridge was happy to show off her fun side today at a party to celebrate the holidays today.
And that's not all she showed off, as the 26-year-year-old brunette donned a sexy santa outfit that clung to her slender frame in all the right places.
The beauty donned what appeared to be a customised Herve Leger bandage dress in the brightest red, with sexy black boots and that all important Santa hat.
For the appearance at Bongo's celebration of the holidays in Hollywood she also posed with men baring toned torsos and the star of the show, Elmo from Sesame Street.
Audrina tweeted from the event:
"Just getting to the big bongo truck on Hollywood and highland!! Whose coming for some treats and to visit??"
Once settled in, 26-year-old Drina joyously added, "With my glam squad crew @RiawnaCapri, @Beau_Nelson!!! Time for ms. Clause to start handing out cupcakes"

Kristin Cavallari to be a Bridesmaid in Stacie 'The Bartender' Hall's Wedding

In the weeks leading up to the "Hills" series finale, it seemed no man was man enough to tame the likes of Kristin Cavallari or her partner-in-crime, Stacie The Bartender. Now, not only are both engaged to be married, but K-Cav will actually act as a bridesmaid to the gal who once got hit on by (a very taken) Spencer Pratt.
StarCam recently caught up with Stacie Hall and asked the former reality sidekick to bring them up to speed on her life since "The Hills." Apparently, she's a recent New York transplant, still drinks to excess and maintains a less-than-favorable opinion of Heidi Montag (who once called her a "homewrecker"). She also pointed out the new bling on her ring finger and offered up a bit of dating advice for those who want to get hitched: "Come home every night, and don't black out."
