Kristin Cavallari: I'm Spending Christmas Without Jay

By Marc Malkin and Brett Malec
It's a happy holiday season for Kristin Cavallari and fiancé Jay Cutler.
The couple is celebrating their re-engagement after shortly separating for three months.
However, we're sad to report that the two will not be together on Christmas Day...
Turns out Cutler will be in Wisconsin for a game against the Packers.
"He's going to be in Green Bay," Cavallari told us at last night's Alice + Olivia fashion show benefiting Baby Buggy in West Hollywood. "It's difficult with the football schedule."
Despite Cutler's big Christmas Day game, Cavallari says she will get to spend lots of quality time with her man, who is recovering from a broken thumb that has kept him out of recent games
"I'll be in Chicago for about a month," she explained. "My mom and that whole side of my family's there and then Jay is obviously there."
As for all that wedding planning she dished to us back in May, Cavallari says they've decided to stop and take things slow. "We haven't set a date," she said. "We're just enjoying being engaged."

Audrina Patridge Strolls on the Beach in Cabo

By Dahvi Shira
Whether it was Justin Bobby, Corey Bohan or one of Audrina Patridge's other suitors, the former Hills star always seemed to have drama with the guys she dated in front of the cameras.
Several months after the finale of her own VH1 reality show Audrina – which did not get renewed for a second season – Patridge, 26, tells PEOPLE "now things are good" between her and on-again beau Bohan.
"Filming a reality show really takes a toll on relationships because your mindset is to create good TV," she says. "It's hard on relationships, so after the show, Corey and I really worked on what was going on with us. We spent time together."
Patridge, whose latest split from Bohan was the premise of her show's finale, told People in April that the breakup "was a long time coming," but the duo reportedly rekindled the flame a month later.
Even though she reunited with Bohan after she finished filming, her break from the spotlight lasted much longer.
"I took five to six months off to just relax," Patridge said. "With seven straight years of filming, I didn't really get time to organize my house or do things for myself, so I just took some time off. I moved to the beach."
Patridge, whose last day as Bongo's two-year spokesperson was on Tuesday, enjoyed her mini-hiatus, but she's ready for her next assignment.
"I'm back again, refreshed and not burnt out," she says. "I know I've been kind of laying low lately, but next year I'm really looking forward to working and getting back out there. I have some really great projects I'm working on."
In the meantime, the reformed reality starlet, who also competed on Dancing with the Stars, has been planning for Bohan's 30th birthday, which is in January.
"I haven't picked out any holiday gifts for him yet, but I am throwing him a little birthday party before he leaves to go back to Australia," she says. "It'll be fun. He knows about it, but there are some surprises he doesn't know about. I'm still going to get him a gift for Christmas, but I haven’t even started shopping yet. It's going to be last minute this year."

Lauren Conrad's Trip to New York

Lauren blogged:
"Usually when I fly out to NYC for Kohl’s, it’s all business and no play. Thankfully this time around I was able to sneak in a bit more fun than usual. The highlight of the trip was ice skating in Bryant Park and meeting up with a few friends from high school. (And I’m proud to say I only fell once…haha.) Nothing beats being in NYC over the holidays. And ice skating in the park is just one of the many reasons it’s so great.
Are you going anywhere over the holidays?
XO Lauren"

We had almost $3 million dollars of Bulgari jewelry and also another designer brought two special rings that were $1 million dollars each. It was insane. Photos will come out in November. It will be an Olivia you have never seen before!"

Kristin Cavallari: Out & About in Malibu

Spotted: Kristin Cavallari leaving Taverna Tony in Malibu on Sunday, December 11, 2011.
Kristin tweeted: "Going to my favorite restaurant in MALIBU ☺"
Kristin Cavallari recently told People that she is finally ready for her happily ever after with Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler after he called off their engagement earlier this year.
"Sometimes, in order for things to get better, they have to end – even if it's momentarily and that was the case with us."
As far as Cavallari, 24, is concerned, the love between her and Cutler was always there, and the reason for the split is something that she and Cutler, 28, who's been sidelined this football season with a thumb injury, have worked through.
"No one really knows what happened between the two of us, and we want to keep it that way," she says. "We broke up, and we were still talking during that whole time."
Even while separated, the passion never left the relationship.
"We didn't break up because of love lost," Cavallari tells People. "We loved each other just as much as we always did when we weren't together."

Which Hills Star is Branching Out Into Bikinis?

By Liz Doupnik
It seems like only yesterday when we were tearing up over the last episode of the Hills (truth). We grew up with the West Coast ladies as they ventured into new careers, boyfriends and outfit choices. That said, it seemed like a natural transition for most of the cast to try their over-accessorized hands at fashion (we won't tell you who we wish hadn't).
With Audrina being our favorite underdog – let's be honest, we all have our own version of Justin Bobby – we were stoked for her when she paired up with brand of the masses, Bongo. It seemed like a great fit and we're not talking about her jeans in the ads.
Welp, all good things must come to an end -- so sayeth Patridge who just wrapped her two year stint as the face of the line. Turns out she wants to focus more on her own pursuits into the fashion world (we can't forget the episode of Audrina when she undergoes an excruciating interview with Zanna Roberts Rassi at Marie Claire magazine).
Let's hope she's become a bit more versed in the industry. So far, it sounds like she is considering that bikinis and lingerie are on the top of her to-design list.

Olivia Palermo Believes Anyone Can Dress Up on a Dime

Olivia Palermo is a whiz at mixing designer buys with lower-end pieces (much like Heidi Klum), and put her talents to work in New York City Thursday night during a styling event at Topshop. The fashionista, wearing head-to-toe Topshop, her own jewels and a turban, dressed several mannequins for the holidays, and talked about her talents with a group of chic admirers.
“During the holidays it gets so cold, and you don’t always want to go out and be freezing in a dress,” she told PEOPLE before the event. “So I really tried to focus on how to wear pants.” Her trick? “Obviously it’s masculine, but add a feminine touch with accessories, and really go to the next level with some hats.”
Since she’ll be in New York for the holidays, Palermo — who’s currently working as a Piperlime guest editor and recently launched her own blog — plans to wear her Stuart Weitzman 5050 boots “all winter long,” while continuing what she calls her “Topshop obsession.” “It’s about catching your eye,” she said of mixing high- and low-end looks. “I think the wonderful thing about High Street especially is that you can look fashionable on a budget — there’s something for everyone. You can incorporate basics into your own wardrobe without breaking the bank.”
