I was a little stressed on the trip because the Internet wasn’t always that reliable and I was emailing chapters of my Beauty book back and forth with my editor (sorry Farrin), but I managed to balance work and play. We spent most of our days relaxing. It was just what I needed before all the holiday craziness set in…

Yesterday I filmed probably one of the most memorable news segments I’ve ever done. This definitely tops the list (after me falling down the stairs) of funny things to happen on live television. I was on Good Day LA for Crest 3D Whitestrips and for a little Whitney Eve fashion show. The models wore pieces from my Fall collection and the news anchors really loved the fact that Whitney Eve is a very family-oriented business. I had my little sister Jade modeling, as well as Paige’s best friend Margrit, and then my parents and Paige were backstage watching. The next thing I know, one of the news anchors runs offstage, grabs my parents and drags them on camera, so they’re just standing there awkwardly with the models. If that wasn’t funny enough, he then proceeded to chase Paige, who had attempted to run and hide, and dragged her onstage as well. Paige really picked the perfect morning to leave the house without brushing her hair or putting any makeup on."

Lauren Conrad Contends with Lost Luggage at LAX Airport

Lauren Conrad arrives at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) and walks around baggage claim for a long time before heading to her car without her baggage.
Lauren recently did a very cute post about baking your dream man on her website. Check it out below:
"We all know a good man is hard to come by. So what’s a girl to do when she’s left solo under the mistletoe? Many of us turn to one of two things: cats or chocolate. But I say no—not this year! Instead, let’s try a new fallback…like gingerbread!
Making your dream (gingerbread) man is simple. Mix up the ingredients, bake him for an hour at 350-degrees…and voila—he’s yours! Dress him in your favorite frosted attire (he can’t say no) or go ahead and eat him right up (literally) under the mistletoe. If all else fails, at least you can break his legs. It’s like gingerbread voodoo… But don’t feel too bad. He deserves it for all those unnecessary calories!
Better yet? Bake a dozen or so and invite your girlfriends over for a wine and design night… I promise, it’s sure to be a good time.

Are Heidi Montag & Spencer Pratt Headed For Relationship Rehab?

For a second it seemed to be 2009 all over again, as once famous famewhores Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt (Speidi, anyone?) pretended to not know they were being photographed as they did something -- in this case, act all lovey dovey while skiing down a mountain -- on Thursday.
In other Speidi news it's being reported that Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt turned down a reality show. What is the world coming to?! Relationship Rehab (VH1's new Celebrity Rehab spinoff) producers recently approached Speidi to work out their issues on the show, and the gruesome twosome flat-out rejected their offer for a simple reason:
They're doing well and weren't willing to pretend otherwise.
We know, it really doesn't compute.
The couple is said to have been initially intrigued by the show, thinking Relationship Rehab was actually about working out together, a la Biggest Loser.
They had no idea it was for couples with real issues, and while they certainly have had some - they're broke now, for one - things are good nowadays.
So they passed, which is great. For them, but mostly for us.

Spotted: Whitney Port, Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup & Cat Deeley at the RealReal/Chrysalis Charity Benefit in Beverly Hills last night, December 15.
Shenae curated the event in a stunning LBD, while Whitney sported a taupe sweater that she paired with a gold statement necklace. In support of the event, Whitney donated pieces from her own closet! Other celebs donated clothes as well including Jamie-Lynn Sigler.
Shenae tweeted about the event, writing:
