Lauren Conrad signed copies of her new book "The Fame Game at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in LA on Tuesday night, April 24..
The designer-turned-author sported a new temporary do by adding streaks of fuchsia to her hair.
On Tuesday, LC tweeted about the idea, nudging her hair stylist. “Trying to convince @Kristin_Ess to dye my tips fuchsia for tonight’s book signing,” she wrote. After lots of positive encouragement, Conrad went for it — going “Fuchsia Barbie,” as Ess joked — sharing a photo of the results and calling her colorful updo her “Little (pink) Pony.”
Conrad has had a lot of fun with her hair color in the past year: normally a blonde, she went brunette last January, switching back six months later. Since then, though, she’s tried the peach look, then dip-dyed her ends in a variety of hues before adding subtle blue highlights. Check out photos of her colored locks below.

Lauren Conrad visited the “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” studios Tuesday to chat about her bottomless Glamour magazine cover, her new book “The Fame Game,” and most importantly would she consider being the next Bachelorette.
On Being The Next Bachelorette:
During a game of Truth Pong, not only did we discover that Lauren is “one of those people that needs makeup!” but we also learned that she would not want to be the next Bachelorette. She answers flatly, ”No! Why would date on TV again? I would love to do something that didn’t affect the people in my life. I like working. I had a really good experience with television, but I don’t want my friends to have to sign a waiver to hang out with me. You know what I mean? I’m fine not doing it right now though.”
On Shawn Pyfrom & Coachella:
Recently, Lauren was photographed at Coachella being carried around by a rather dashing individual. “That’s my friend Shawn [Pyfrom of Desperate Housewives]. Coachella was fun, but I don’t know if I’m hip enough to really enjoy it. I was in bed at nine every night!”
On “Glamour” Magazine Photo Shoot:
Lauren boasts, “There’s a lot of me! I took the photo and it was suppose to be an inside shot and I did not know that was going to be the cover.” Why did she dare to pose without bottoms? “Because it’s Glamour, and I’ve worked with them before. And it’s a women’s magazine so it was fine. I mean, shooting this was crazy, because there was no fence in this yard. It was just open in Malibu and I was wearing pasties. I was freezing! It was so cold this day so I was just like, ‘Let this be done!’ My friend told me I looked like the Coppertone girl all grown-up.”
On “The Fame Game”:
“I took the mean girl from the first series and spun her off which was really fun, because the first series I was writing from my own point of view. However, this girl is just the complete opposite. She loves being famous. That’s all she ever wanted, and she does all the shameless things that people do. It was fun to play that character. I know so many people like that!”
It was only a few weeks ago that reality TV star-turned-designer Whitney Port shared a peek at her vintage-inspired new jewelry line, Bits & Bobs, which will be available this fall. Now, the full lookbook is live on Port's website. A quick click-through reveals antiqued gold long necklaces, earrings, pins, cuff bracelets and even crowns.
Whitney blogged about her latest venture:“The time has finally come!!!! The Bits & Bobs by Whitney Eve look book is here and I am so ready for you to check it out!"
“I have absolutely loved designing this first season of jewelry and cannot wait for many more! It has been such an intriguing learning experience to work with metals. I had a blast going through the bins and bins of chains, beads, brooches and vintage jewelry in order to achieve what we have made. I absolutely love making jewelry because it is that one touch of sparkle, that one statement piece that can make an outfit shine."

Spotted: Audrina Patridge leaving Dylan’s Irish Pub in Los Angeles yesterday, April 22.
Drina was joined by her boyfriend Corey Bohan as she made her exit, and got a kick out of some of the comments made by the paparazzi.
As for the tabloid rumors that she’s getting ready to pose for Playboy, Audrina is definitely not taking it off for the men’s magazine.
An erroneous report claimed, “She loves her body, and her mom is pushing her to do it,” but Patridge’s rep told press that the report is “inaccurate.”
