Jayde Nicole Leaves ‘The Hills’

There were no Hills cameras around when Jayde Nicole came out to the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas this past weekend sans ex-boyfriend Brody Jenner. And don’t expect to see cameras around her anytime soon! The Hills star and Playboy Playmate of the Year told OK! she has no plans to be on MTV reality show now that she and Brody have broken up.
“As of right now, I’m not going to be on the show,” she told OK!. “I’m not a very dramatic person and I don’t like all the drama and I feel like that’s all it was.”
Despite all the arguments on the show over Brody’s other ex Kristin Cavallari, Jayde says the hardest part was the scrutiny.
“Its hard everybody kind of watching your relationship and kind of scrutinizing it and taking all of your good times and only putting the bad ones on TV,” Jayde told OK! at the PokerStars amfAR Party. “I mean our relationship wasn’t like that at all in real life. Of course we fought, everybody fights but at the end of the day we made it through the whole filming so it didn’t really affect it that much.”
Jayde, who joined other celebs including Adrian Grenier, Kelly Rowland, Nelly and World Series of Poker Champion Joe Cada at the Atlantis, has traded in The Hills for poker playing. She’s getting lessons from a different pro poker player each month to prepare for the World Series, as part of the All In Project. Jayde first learned to play poker with her ex, but she says Brody has no hard feeling she gets to play with the pros while he sits on the rail.
“He was not jealous, but he definitely wanted to be part of it,” Jayde says. “Me and Brody still keep in touch too. We’re still friends. Everyone that I was friends with on the show I’m still friends with now.”
Although The Hills is not in her future, Jayde says other reality shows are in the works.
“We do have a couple show we’re working on right now that are insane and a lot of fun but nothing really that’s going to dwell into my personal life that much,” Jayde says. “Live and learn. Never again.”

I think she made a smart decision! It would be fun to see her in a 'Girls Next Door' type of show.

  1. Oh gawd NOOOOOOOOOO... I originally only used to watch cause i loved LC & Whitney & then cause i thought Jayde & Brody were cool but now no Jayde on Hills means i'm tuning out... I'd rather chew on nails then watch Kristin & co do a crappy job of reading scripts & faking drama...BOOOOO

But i understand why she wants out too & wish her the best! Hopefully we see her back on screen in something else soon! =)

  2. ...or else it's a publicity stunt to help along the kristin/brody storyline.

  4. I like Jayde but am glad that we won't be seeing the same old drama with her and Brody. It's time to move on. I will be glad to see her pop up on a different reality show though.

  5. What about this possibility?

She broke up with Brody because he wanted her to be with him on the Hills and she didn't and was not willing not live her life hiding from paps, because that's what she'd have to do if she stayed with Brody. If the Hills is going with this Kristen thing, it would mean her and Brody would have to hide. She didn't want the Hills to run her life anymore, but understood that asking Brody to quit would be wrong. So as she said "if you truly love someone let them go" because she loves him, but couldn't follow his path, and so she said do what you have to do, and at the end of it all, when the Hills is over, if they were meant to be, then they'll get back together.

  6. ^^^ 3.45pm, interesting you should say that cause i was also trying to work out what the 'if you love someone let them go" comment she made on Twitter was all about... but what you said is a possibility!

  8. 9:08 and 10:18,
And remember when Jayde didn't go to the NYC finale because she said MTV want you to believe that Brody and I aren't together. And at the Finale someone asked how many times Brody had been in love, and he took his time to answer saying now that he was an adult, looking back he's only been in love once. And we all know that's Jayde.

So, new season, they aren't together. But still good friends. She's focused on her poker, which she is kicking ass at. Filming only lasts a couple months. Frankie's blind date for Brody was so transparent. He says follow Whitney Farnswhatever. So we could see her saying, thanks for the set up, she had a great time. But neither Frankie nor Brody follow her.

Someone commented on another site, that they asked Jayde a question, and Jayde's answer did not go along with what the Hills was doing. So this person flipped something like "nice to bite the hand that feeds you Jayde. Your ungrateful and you should say what's best for the show" Oh and this is after Kristen and others went on talk shows and pretty much let the cat out of the bag, that the show wasn't real, she was acting etc.

She's said she hates liars, fake people, and the like so I can easily see her following her integrity first, and can only be honest, even if it means losing a paycheck.

A few months I guess we'll find out. And I hope they give the scoop on EVERYTHING.
