Kristin Cavallari at Chinese Laundry's Meet & Great at Dillards Dept Store

Kristin Cavallari, newly appointed Chinese Laundry Web Ambassador, made a special appearance at Dillard's inside the Fashion Show Mall in Las Vegas on December 3, 201Cavallari promoted Chinese Laundry shoes and posed for pictures with fans.
Kristin talked to Robin Leach in an exclusive interview about the perils of living life in a public fish bowl.
“That’s the part that’s a little rough. The tabloid world of it all is the most difficult part. It’s one of the things you have to try to ignore, but that’s very difficult sometimes. I have to learn to laugh it off, I guess,” she told me. “There wasn’t that kind of pressure when I was filming ‘Laguna Beach’ because I was so young, and I didn’t really know what that was going to become. I don’t think any of us thought it was going to be as successful as it was. So we really just went about our business as kids in high school.
“It was only after it became a success and I moved up to Los Angeles that I started to become aware of how people looked at you and how you dressed. Before when I was in high school, I didn’t even think twice about that sort of thing. It becomes part of the process and although overall it’s a lot of fun and I know not to take it too seriously, there are rough moments having every aspect of your life in the open.”
Kristin, who danced the jive with pro partner Mark Ballas for one last time on last week’s “Dancing With the Stars” finale, said of the ABC hit show: “I’m lucky I wasn’t booted off first. I’m lucky there were no aches or pains. I was sad when I got voted off, but it was the best experience of my life, the best time.” Fiance Jay cheered her on from the audience.
Kristin is the ambassador for the children’s charity One Kid One World helping underprivileged youths and at Fashion Show the web ambassador for Chinese Laundry. Kristin is hoping it leads to her own line: “It’s a hot-selling, hip shoe company with affordable prices and always right on trend. I haven’t been drawing my own shoes yet but have been building a book of incredible shoes from all over that will become the inspiration for my own eventually.”
The TV personality who went on to become a star of “The Hills” teased me a little about her love match: “The world of romance is going well. It’s a solid relationship, and things are great. I’m getting into football now as a real fan. I’ve never been to the Super Bowl. The Bears were very close last year. They have been playing great, and they could possibly get the wildcard, so I’d be right there if it happened.” (Never mind that Jay’s broken wrist has sidelined him for possibly the rest of season!)
She continued, “But I definitely want to get married and have a family. I don’t want to raise a family in L.A., so wherever I live, I’m hopeful I will be able to go on working. I’m fine with that.”
Kristin, who celebrated her 21st birthday at LAX in the Luxor, said: “It’s always a good time when I hit Vegas. The 21st was a pretty big one, even my mom came for that. It was a really great night, but no crazy stories to tell you. Vegas is always fun!”
The vivacious beauty revealed a little about her next TV project: “I have to wait until the big announcement, but it’s definite. I probably won’t be on it, but I’m producing it for Fremantle, who have some of the biggest shows on television.
“I love being on the other side of the camera. I love coming up with ideas and then seeing them come to life. I love it -- it’s so much fun. And no added pressure of being on camera! I really want this one to be a success, and then I know where my new life is leading.”

Kristin Cavallari at The Chinese Laundry Celebration

At last night's Chinese Laundry celebration, Kristin Cavallari's LWD dress served as worthy inspiration to hit the gym — and revamp our cocktail attire. The leggy blonde celebrated her new role as Chinese Laundry's web ambassador in a hot, white minidress, complete with a cutout back. We love that she lets the dress be the standout — with such a sexy piece, you need little else to make an impact. To finish, it's just a pair of nude (what else?) Chinese Laundry pumps, a coordinating clutch, and a pair of understated drop earrings.
Kristin chatted with OK Magazine at the party about dieting as well as her favorite things about Chicago.
KCav told OK! she loves Chicago for its winning combination of family and food! She dished, “Well, my mom is there so I get to see my family, and the food is great!”
Speaking of food, the svelte Dancing With the Stars cast-off describes her dieting regimen with one simple word: “Consistent.” As for her top tip? “Don’t be too strict, because that’s when you binge eat. You have to give into temptation here and there, that’s what life is all about.”
Speaking of temptations and guilty pleasures, the last time she felt guilty was yesterday. “Today because I pigged out like a maniac all weekend.” The red velvet cupcake fan confessed, “I ate everything! I ate this thing called a “Butter Cake” from Mastro’s last night at like midnight. Which was a really bad idea. I had penne a la vodka last night, which I don’t typically order a bowl of pasta, I really just let loose this weekened.”
Regardless, it sounds like Kristin has her waistline under control. “I never skip meals,” she said. Especially during DWTS, she was even more vigilant about not skipping. “No! especially during dancing I was always eating and snacking. I’m a big breakfast fan and I feel like you have to keep eating throughout the day because otherwise your metabolism will slow down.”

Kristin Cavallari Talks Shoes & Shops At Intermix

Cavallari says she does not know what's next for her entertainment-wise, but she is meanwhile focusing on a longtime obsession: Shoes.
The 24-year-old was named the newest spokesmodel for the trendy footwear brand Chinese Laundry last month and is featured on their website.
"Obviously I have a lot of time on my hands now coming up," she told OnTheRedCarpet.com host Rachel Smith at the recent "Just Dance 3" launch party in Los Angeles. "I'm working with Chinese Laundry and I'm their new Web Ambassador so doing online fashion blogging and talking about the latest fashion trends with shoes, which I love, because I'm obsessed with shoes." "Other than that, we'll see," she said. "I don't know."

Serving as a guest editor for the trendy shoe line’s website, the star will bring her relatable fashion savvy to the site via videos, styling tips and product picks, starting this fall.
