Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt Celebrate July 4th with a Run for Charity

Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt participated in the 32nd Palisades 10K Charity Run on Saturday (July 4th) in Pacific Palisades, Calif.

To celebrate Independence Day, the happy Hills couple showed their true colors by dressing up in stars and stripes. Spencer donned a full Uncle Sam outfit and Heidi wore a hat with a Fourth of July bikini top.

I know this is all for show but I have to say I like them much better when any kind of charity work is involved.

So for a little update...I am on a much needed 4 week hiatus from filming for THE HILLS, so far it has been heavenly! Audrina Patridge at Bank Nightclub 7/3

On July 3 MTV’s The Hills sexy starlet and actress Audrina Patridge hosted a lavish 4th of July bash at The Bank Nightclub at Bellagio in Las Vegas to kick off the holiday weekend. Audrina indulged in a celebratory dinner earlier in the evening along with friends at Bellagio’s Yellowtail sushi restaurant, with a meal specially created by renowned Chef Akira Back. Audrina enjoyed a night of dancing with her girlfriends at the Las Vegas hotspot in celebration of the patriotic occasion and continued the party late-night at Caramel lounge at Bellagio.

Below: A video of Audrina celebrating her birthday a few months back in the same pretty dress. I know it's very "un-celeb" of her to wear the same outfit twice but I have to say I love that about her. Audrina keeps it real, and in this economy, it's just the smart thing to do.

On June 24th, Olivia Palermo and Whitney Port chatted it up with Alexa Chung - separately fueling a bit of speculation that the City frenemies may have officially crossed over into full-on enemy territory. Nevertheless, both ladies were more than pleasant, even seconds before show time. Audrina Patridge's New Show Casting For Friends?

Audrina's new show is tentatively being called The Colony and Star magazine reports that the show will begin shooting in August, and that show producers are already busy trying to cast Audrina’s new clique of friends.

A source tells the magazine, “The show is currently casting for Audrina’s new BFFs. They have chosen a girl pursuing a music career. The others will also have some sort of artsy interest.”

Audrina has apparently been really involved in choosing the people who will be her new friends.

The source says, “She wants to make sure they find people she actually wants to get to know.”

Hmmmm...wasn't the show supposed to center on Audrina, her family and her real life circle of friends?? Then again, considering the source (Star Magazine)take this gossip with a grain of salt.

Lauren Conrad says Ryan Gosling Hit on Her

File this under one of the more bizarre conversations we've overheard:

Lauren Conrad and boyfriend Kyle Howard were whipping themselves into a frenzy Thursday night at Deluxe, where we just happened to be an earwitness.

Lauren claims that Ryan Gosling tried to hit on her and she told Kyle, "Who does he think he is? I'm with you. I would never..." At that point we couldn't stop listening and Kyle said: "I know baby, if I was there I would have set him straight."

But sadly, that wasn't the end of it. Kyle then started chatting with a friend and suddenly there was testosterone in the air, and a lot of it. "Let's go find Ryan Gosling. Let's beat him up," one of them said. And yes, it was funny that they kept calling him "Ryan Gosling" instead of just Ryan.

Of course we have no idea if Ryan Gosling did hit on Lauren, we only know what we heard.

Enjoying a summertime outing in the Big Apple, Whitney Port was spotted out at Whole Foods in New York City on Thursday.

Looking in high spirits, the MTV reality star and her gal pal did some food shopping at the East Village grocery store before walking back home as paparazzi snapped up shots.
