Heidi Montag: Yoga Barbie

Here’s the thing. I like Heidi Montag. I’ve been watching her since the early days of “The Hills,” when she had a whole different face, she was Lauren’s BFF, and she was a newbie to the Hollywood scene. She was relatable—but she had a kind of cruel streak, like when she dumped her boyfriend for no reason other than she seemed to feel like it. This video? I don’t know. It’s just weird. I’ve done a lot yoga, but never have I done yoga like this. Heidi and her yoga instructor (?) strike a series of awkward poses, and Heidi evidences everything you’re not supposed to do in yoga. She seems more worried one of her implants is about to burst than getting into the yoga mindset. I always wonder what the deal is with stuff like this and her. You have to imagine that perhaps it’s Spencer behind the camera, shooting the weird-doll woman that (I suspect) he has pressured Heidi to turn herself into. In any case, it’s just sad. Right?

  1. She's so pathetic, its not funny. I predict she'll be doing adult films in the future.

  3. Does anyone else find it strange that she professes a Christian upbringing and belief system saying things like "I love Jesus" on her twitter page but has crystals, does yoga, hires self-actualizing gurus to spend time with her and spencer (discussing light and love), twitters about her fortune cookies, and changes her body beyond recognition stating God gave her extra so she could meet Dr. Ryan who would hack her up? She is a walking oxymoron.

  4. God, I remember Heidi when she was on Laguna Beach!! She appeared in a few episodes at the end of season 1, chatting with Lauren and Jen by a pool. She seemed like a normal girl ... but when the Hills came out there was definitely something "off" about her. The crashing of the Teen Vogue party; the dropping out of school; the dumping of Jordan for no good reason except that she "deserved to be treated like a princess." And, well, then there was Spencer. It's just so sad. And it's sad that there is no girlfriend in her life that can tell her that. She doesn't realize that ten years from now she will be a nobody and she wasted all her time and money on plastic surgery that she didn't need ... and can't take back.

  6. I agree Sarah Ashley. She did seem like a normal girl then, even on the first season of the Hills. Girls sometimes do silly things, especially when your on your own for the first time. I think she's been jealous of Lauren. Heidi was always a pretty, bubbly girl. But Lauren was beautiful, grew up rich and then had this reality show. I think when Heidi met Spencer, he manipulated her jealousy and insecurities and thats what we have today. Hopefully she will come to some realization about herself before its too late. My opinion....

  7. I can't even watch Heidi and Spencer on The Hills anymore. Watching all their scenes in seasons passed, it's clear how fame hungry and drama dependent they were and still are. I remember Heidi on Laguna Beach as well and it's a shame things have gone this far, what with her surgery and releasing a record (wtf is with that) and every other ridiculous publicity stunt her and Spencer have pulled. It just goes to show that their lives aren't even worth watching if they're always having to create some fake shit to make it entertaining.
