This may become one crowded kitchen.
Heidi Montag, Jake Pavelka, Danielle Staub and other reality alumni are all going into the food business together for an upcoming series that places some big personalities under heavy pressure, PEOPLE has learned.
"They are revamping a restaurant from the ground up," says a source on the set of the new reality series, slated to air on VH1. "They started shooting this past weekend."
On the show, the cast will be tasked with opening a restaurant in just 28 days.
The stars, who filmed Tuesday at Café Med in West Hollywood, have remained tight-lipped, with Staub announcing on Twitter: "I'm working on a project. Let you know soon what and with whom!! Xxoo."
Pavelka also tweeted Tuesday, "Crazy fun day of shooting!"

We all know the one thing that that group of recycled reality stars have in common. It kills me that a show like this is going to be picked up (I am assuming) while Lauren's show was dropped. I just don't get it.
ReplyDeleteHi tessa
ReplyDeleteI don't get it either but I do blame MTV. The worst part is they stopped filming the show mid way through so it's incomplete. I almost wonder if it was deliberate on their part. By not completing the footage (look book, Coterie etc) they basically ruined (sabatoged?) any chances of it being run on another network. Ugh! Can you tell I'm just a wee bit bitter? ;)
Hi Kelli! Hope all is going well. I really miss reading everyone's comments on c-box, but it does make me read the comments under the posts more.
ReplyDeleteWatching the would be show's opening was like rubbing salt into the wound! It looked so creative and fun! It seemed to get a lot of positive buzz, too. I guess that it's no coincidence that it was taking down. MTV should be kicking themselves!
Tessa! ( I was hoping that was you. there's another tessa that posts here sometimes too!)
ReplyDeleteEverything is great thanks for asking! : ) How is everything on your end? I miss the c-box and chatting with all of you so much. I kind of gave up after 2 months of trying to get it fixed. I am going to make a point to comment more on posts and maybe we can start a good dialog this way. I know it's not the same (or what we're used to) but hey it's a start. : ) xoxo
And I totally agree about the promo! It was so cute & Lauren looked beautiful. And too right about rubbing salt in the wound!
