Jayde Nicole on Kristin Cavallari's Broken Engagement: "It's Sad..."

By Ted Casablanca & Aly Weisman
You may recall a certain shoving and screaming match between Jayde Nicole and Kristin Cavallari over one Brody Jenner on The Hills a few years back—but that doesn't mean the two hot gals can't play nice.
Especially in times of need
After being allegedly dumped by her fiancĂ© last week, K.Cav is getting support in some unexpected places…
Like from her former rival!
"It's sad, I'm always sad when people break up," Jayde told us of her frenemy's split during the DavidBartonGym party at The Roxy. "I know she was really, really happy with him out in Chicago. I don't know what went down."
So has Jayde reached out to her former Hills co-star (and screaming match partner) in the wake of the break up news?
"I try and let it settle for a bit," says Jayde. "I know she probably has a million people on her ass texting her trying to figure out [what happened] so I just wish her the best and it's for the better for whatever reason."

Wow, looks like these two really can play nice! Well except for a little jabbing…
As for who Kristin should date next, Jayde tells us, "She needs to date someone with a really strong personality who can counter her strong personality."
And while Jayde reveals that Kristin will "probably move back to L.A. now," is this town big enough for the both of ‘em
"I'm glad she's coming back," says Jayde. "We get along. The show was very not real so we never really actually fought."
What! The Hills was fake?! Way to burst our bubble!
"Do you like my acting skills?" Jayde asked us. "I feel happy when people tell me, ‘Oh my god, you're such a bitch' because that means that I was a really good actress!"
So were Jayde's diva antics on Holly's World just as fake as her screen time on The Hills?
"The Hills is worse, it's the most put together reality show.," dished J. "But it was good, they knew how to make ratings and how to make a good show and they did it. They never said it was real after the first couple seasons, they're like, ‘it's entertainment' and that's what we were all told to say."
But one on-screen drama filled relaysh that wasn't just for show?
Jayde Nicole vs. Holly Madison.
Apparently, Vegas ain't big enough for two former Playmates!
"We actually got along while we were filming but we don't anymore," dished Jayde, presumable because Holly is now dating Jayde's ex-Boyfriend, Jesse Waits!

Jayde Nicole Dishes on Her New E! Show, 'The Hills' Drama, and Dating Brody Jenner

Hugh Hefner's Playboy reality show franchise is set to grow again in August, with the debut of a 'The Girls Next Door' spin-off called 'The Girls Next Door: Bunny House.' Among the cast-members will be Jayde Nicole, a familiar face to anyone who has been following the soap opera of contemporary L.A. life as it has played out on the small screen.
Nicole, who was named Playboy's Playmate of the Year in 2008, has appeared on 'The Girls Next Door,' 'The Hills' and her then-boyfriend Brody Jenner's reality series, 'Bromance.' She also received some unwanted attention in the gossip press over a bizarre incident last summer, when she was roughed up at a nightclub by 'Girls Gone Wild' impresario Joe Francis. Nicole spoke to PopEater about clothes, guys, and the pressures of living her life on reality TV.
"Being on 'The Hills' was really stressful," says Nicole over the telephone from Los Angeles, with her longhair teacup chihuahua, Pumpkin, audible in the background.
On our new show, 'Bunny House,' they let you be your true personality and it's a lot more fun. 'The Hills' was a lot more drama, they were always trying to create drama and there was a lot more guidance on where you were supposed to go and what you were supposed to say," she said.
Nicole will share the screen with fellow-bunnies Crystal Harris, Hope Dworaczyk, Jamie Edmondson, Crustal McCahill and one aspiring Playmate, Claire Sinclair. She promises lots of bikini parties and of course, the bunnies' inimitable wardrobe.
"A Playmate's style is a very sexy look, of course, but it's also very classy and girly and kind of cutesie," Nicole says. " A jeans cut-off short with a bight-colored tank-top is something that I always do. I wear a ton of Bebe, Bebe is like my go-to for fun, summer white dresses and anything cute. And Marciano I wear a lot of, but my favorite store is Forever 21. I'm wearing it right now! You can get shorts, a top and shoes for like 20 bucks."
But life in front of the lens is not the non-stop party that it might appear to be. Even Nicole's much-publicized relationship with quintessential reality hunk Brody Jenner also had a down-side, she says.
"We're really good friends now--surprisingly enough," Nicole says with a giggle. "I definitely thought at the beginning that we would have turned out to be enemies. But we still keep in touch, and things are good."
So what was it like dating such a heart-throb?
"Looks are not everything, and he definitely is a sweetheart but it's a lot to take on to date someone like that," she says. "When someone's life has been on reality television for the majority of their life, it's a whole different type of relationship than you're used to [such as] dating a normal guy from your high school. It's a really big learning experience and it's not as fun and dreamy as people think it is."
Her current boyfriend, nightclub entrepreneur Jesse Waits, is slated to appear in the pilot--edits permitting--along with Pumpkin.
"Jesse is awesome, he's really sweet, and he treats me like a princess," she said over the phone. "In fact he's sitting next to me now."
Waits declined to speak with PopEater because, Nicole explained, "he's shy." Something tells us he might not know what he's getting into.
"The Girls Next Door: Bunny House" will premiere on E! August 8.

Jayde Nicole's new man Jesse Waits

Jayde tweeted:
"Me and my love Jesse Waits :) just to clarify lol he is my one and only xox"

Jayde and Jesse were spotted at Six Flags Magic Mountain theme park in Los Angeles,California on Tuesday (April 13). Here is a cute photo of the two of them strapped into the skycoaster for bungee jumping ride. I believe Jayde's tweet was to set the record straight as a few gossip sites incorrectly identified Jesse earlier today as Joffrey Lupol!

So who is Jesse Waits? Glad you asked. Here's his bio on Wikepedia:
Jesse Waits is an American businessman involved in the nation's entertainment/nightclub scene. Waits is managing partner at XS nightclub inside Encore Las Vegas, Tryst nightclub inside Wynn Las Vegas, Drai's After Hours inside Bill's Gamblin' Hall and Saloon, Botero restaurant inside Encore Las Vegas and Drai's Hollywood at the new W Hollywood hotel in Hollywood, Ca.
Waits has established himself as one of the most influential and powerful figures on the national nightlife scene.
Waits has been honored with several accolades. Professionally, Waits has guided XS, Tryst and Drai's to multiple awards, including XS nightclub's No. 1 ranking in this year's Top 100 ranking on the Nightclub & Bar Magazine's annual list. Tryst, ranked No. 2 ranking in last year's Top 100 poll, was No. 5 this year. Drai's After Hours placed No. 16 in the same ranking this year, up an impressive six spots from last year's No. 22 position.
XS nightclub also took home the Mega-Club of the Year award, as well as the New Club of the Year honor in the Nightclub & Bar magazine competition.
Waits, his identical twin brother, Cy Waits, and nightlife impresario Victor Drai received the ultimate honor in 2009 when they were named Operators of the Year at the Nightclub & Bar magazine's convention.

This year, XS and Tryst are up for a combined eight awards in the Nightclub & Bar and Club World competitions. Personally, he and his brother were named as part of Extra's "America's Most Eligible Bachelors" list.
Growing up, Waits split his time between Hawaii and Southern California before making a move to Nevada in 1998.
Waits was chosen to open and manage Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay, where he is widely known for having established the popularity of the exclusive nightclub among locals and tourists. Waits was also heavily involved in the opening of Light nightclub at Bellagio.
And Foundation Room was also where Waits experienced met Drai, owner of Drai’s After Hours and co-owner of Tryst and XS nightclubs.
Drai expressed interest in working with Waits, thus starting their productive and prosperous relationship with each other, and his brother.
The trio made its first impressive imprint on the Las Vegas nightlife scene when they took the reins of the space once occupied by La Bete nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas and redesigned/transformed it into Tryst, which became one of Sin City’s most lucrative and successful venues.
The powerhouse team followed up Tryst with XS, which is arguably the most profitable and powerful nightclub in the world after an amazing first year on the nightlife scene.
Combine all that with Drai's After Hours' unparalled success as the longest-running after hours venue in Las Vegas which celebrates its 10-year anniversary in 2010 and the threesome's latest venture - Drai's Hollywood - and you have one of the world's most dominant nightlife teams which Waits has had one of the biggest hands in developing into greatness.

And if that's not impressive enough - he's good looking to boot! Check out this interview with Jesse:
